I went onto Marketplace on Facebook looking for a motorhome to purchase. A sponsored ad was in my feeds for RV Showroom California, & the motorhome advertised was super cheap. I should have known then....if it is too good to be true....IT IS!!! But after I found the one I wanted it got even better! I could pay 0.80 per mile to have it delivered to me from CA to NC, so roughly $2,000. They said after delivered, we would have 10 days to drive it around, with their tags on it, to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. The entire $20,000 would be held in a trust of theirs until the 10 days were up, to reassure me that they weren't just going to run off with the money. Also, it came with a 6 month bumper to bumper warranty.So, I called around 3pm West Coast time & no one answered, it sent me to a voicemail. I thought that was odd, but still gave them my info to call me back. Well, the next morning at 6:15 am a man named "Timothy" with an Oriental accent called me. Right then I knew it was a scam! But didn't give up yet. My husband got on the phone & asked the man a few non shulaunt questions, then he asked for the Vin number....the man had no problem answering the petty questions, but when it came to the Vin number he hung up immediately!!! Dead give away!! So, my husband then went into Google, searched & found a phone number for an RV place with the same address, called Simi Valley RV's. So he called them & the lady told him that it was a scam & that we were not the first people to call about it.

In closing, I just wonder why the real RV place has not had the page shut down or at the very least, reported it to the BBB, like I am right now!???
