by them they were using McAfee as their ruse, saying I had a breach and even if I didn’t use windows and no computer they could protect so tried a year one time only with no contract for 24.99. When the year was up they texted me saying I had a contract for 3 years at 180.00 to be renewed and could not get out of it. Bullying, nastiness and outright disrespect from the “agent” putting it mildly. An hour on the phone me explaining I didn’t sign up for auto renewal they tried to get me to go to manual renewal and pay them. I asked what payment method they had on file and they said it was encrypted and they couldn’t see it. The “agent was very confrontational to the point I said “ would you treat your mother or grandmother this way?!” I didn’t hold back with my disgust for their scam techniques and intimidation tactics. I told them I’m reporting them to the ScamPulse.com and contacted McAfee and started a case against them. There are many, many complaints online against this “ company”that are exactly the same as mine. Stay very far away ! Contact Mcafee customer support first if you have any questions.
