Type of a scam Rental

One year ago, I was one of a number of people who were scammed by this group. Their business was to rent local private homes for the Super Bowl. It looks like they are doing it again this year for the Super Bowl in Miami. Same web site, same content. They also advertise on their web site that they have a ScamPulse.com Better Business Bureau Rating. Here is the backround: The Company advertised that they could get substantial money ($5,000+) per night for people renting homes during the SuperBowl. We have a six bedroom, 9 thousand Sq Ft home - so we looked into it. The company required a $450 down payment to have a professional photographer come out to create a "virtual tour" video of our home. The company stated that if they did not rent our home, the $450 would be refunded. We did not rent our home. We spoke to the photographer (who did a great job). The photographer had not been paid by the company. The photographer said that 15-20 other people also did not rent their home and was trying to get a refund as well. When we pressed the company further for the $450 refund, they told us to file a dispute with our bank or credit card company - and that they were in the process of filing chapter 13. I have all e-mail history as well as the name and contact information of the photographer and others who were ripped off. Also glad to provide additional information.
