Fake, They are Phishing for information

They called my husband after looking up our last name, which is quite unique. They then said that they were trying to pronounce a name, and then went on to say I opened a loan with my husband. When I started asking questions they hung up. 516-886-9477 is the number I called. They are fraudsters.

Scam Debt Collection!

The message left on my voicemail said: "This call is for [my name]. I am Steven McKinley with legal offices of GFN & Associates working on several violations under your name and SSN. Call 800-748-8163 to settle before we seek official appropriate relief." When I did not return his call because I assumed it was a scam, he called my sister! and left the same message! For all I know, he is calling all of my relatives and leaving messages. I have NO debt for which I would be in a lawsuit so I know this is a scam!

Scam call from 628-232-2005. Transcription: "This message is solely for _________. My name is Steven McKinley. I'm with the legal offices of GFN & Associates. We've been retained. We are handling several violations under your name and social. If you would like to settle this matter before we seek appropriate relief before a proper jurisdiction at all, I strongly suggest you or your legal representative call immediately upon receipt of this message. My toll-free number is 800-748-8163". ... DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER BACK TO CONFRONT THEM. THEY WILL SOMEHOW GET PHONE NUMBERS FOR YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS, WORKPLACE OR FRIENDS TO HARASS YOU. IGNORE AND BLOCK NUMBER FROM YOUR PHONE. GFN & ASSOCIATES DOES NOT EXIST. LYRAD DEBT SOLUTIONS IS A SCAM.
