Type of a scam Online Purchase

I listed 3 furniture items for sale on Kijiji. Within a short period of time i received a text msg asking me to 'kindly get back to Stephanie via email' at the email address above 'with your firm price as she's interested in buying' the particular piece of furniture. I emailed the person claiming to be Stephanie & informed 'her' that the proce I posted was price I wanted for the item. A few hours later I received an email back from Stephanie saying she was 'stationed in Colorado... and wanting to send money via paypal asap. The next request was for me to get back to her with my PayPal info and have the posting deleted Asap. The she asked for the 'pickup location' and my direct phone #.

As an aside, and the reason I contacted Kijiji, who've told me that the phone # and email address had been previously banned by Kijij, I know someone who was scammed in a very similar way, attempting to sell furniture online. In their case they provided the Paypal account info and then lost money when they paid the shipping fees that were supposed to have been reimbursed.
