The company was advertised as Stax Merchant services. They agreed to provide merchant services for a monthly fee of $39, plus a 12 cent transaction fee- no other fees. Once you are approved for their financials services for processing, they begin to charge monthly fees of $49 from a company called FattMerchant, Forte $17.50 in addition to TSYS merchant services which charges a fee based on whatever credit card is used- not the 12 cents per transaction. I provided the written agreement to Stax support and they said they can't honor that agreement and just kept charging my bank account excessive fees even though I cancelled the account. I kept questioning why - 3 different charges, from companies that I did not give access to my bank account. I feel vulnerable now that they have my account information and they keep charging me fees even though I didn't use their services after suspicions of fraud. They won't stop and keep giving me different excuses as to why they can charge my bank accounts. They are liars and scammers and use a front company Stax for spreading random charges once you give them your bank information. They don't keep their agreements and won't stop charging my bank account. It's a total scam company that says they are the #1 merchant services from Forbes, etc. False advertising and wicked liars and manipulative thieves that have zero integrity in keeping their agreements. They should all go to jail. That company needs to be shut down and people warned of their tactics and stealing of financial information for their deceptive gain.
