However - nowhere does it state to whom we owe any taxes - on either letter. And, I've never received another letter from them or anyone else stating that I owe any taxes. It looks like they're trying to scare us into paying a random $97 each. We're renters, always have been, so we couldn't owe any property or school taxes and never received a bill for anything else. Plus, we've only lived at this address for 6 months, so we certainly don't owe anything here either.
