I followed the directions from the passportseasy.com receipt and immediately submitted a cancellation request. I received a cancellation confirmation email which advised "a refund (of $184.00) will post back to your Visa ending in **** within one billing cycle." This has not happened.
I sent several emails requesting updates regarding my refund, but only received one from passportseasy.com advising "Cancellations cannot be made by email, message, or phone...Click on Access required forms, scroll down, click File request to cancel..." I was unable to do this as my account was then inactive.
I made several phone calls and left messages but did not receive any callbacks. I sent a 4th and final email to [email protected], no response received. I made a final call which was answered, but I was told I must have reached the wrong number as they had no such case number. I called back after they hung up, but the number was no longer being answered.
I sent an email to passportseasy.com advising I was filing a complaint with the BBB, which I did on 02/08/2025, and included copies of all correspondence. The Better Business Bureau was unable to process my complaint as PassportsEasy does not maintain a permanent physical presence in their service area.
The ScamPulse.com suggested I submit my concern to their ScamPulse.com Scam Tracker, the Federal Trade Commission, the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center, and my state's attorney general office.
