On Monday, October 12, 2015 I was moving and hired this moving company S&S Moving for appointment time 9am, to move out a 2bedroom 2bath apartment on the 3rd floor within the max of 6hrs. I was quoted a estimate of about $500. The company called me at 10am stating that they were on the way had to stop to get boxes. Then I received another call while I was at the store from S&S stating they were at my house 12:30p. I originally order 2 movers for $98 a hour with truck plus a one time service fee of $98. So they beganned working, when they were packing I came home tolook for my fiencee birthday gift that was in my room under my matress. The movers told me they packed it (a jewerly set from Zales). Ok so I didn't think nothing of it until we got to the new house. I began to unpack looking for the jewerly, it was nowhere to be found. I asked the crew for assistance to find it but no one was willing to help. Not to mention when they came the 2 man crew asked me to add on another mover for $138/hr. conviencing me that the move will be faster. So from 12:30p-10:30p the company moved me. Once they completed the job the driver asked is there anything else we can help you with? I replied, find my jewerly set. The driver the rubbed his head with this $1518 bill that never been paid. The walked out my door without money and pulled off. But during my unpacking process I realized more of my property is missing. Also who in their right mind will work 10hours without no pay hard labor. I have been scammed and stolen from and really need help.
