I clicked an ad that looked legitimate for Dick’s Sporting Goods, but I failed to look at the website address. They offered a sale on running shoes with a deadline of 15 minutes. I put in my credit card info and address and confirmed the purchase before I thought to check the actual web address, which was not for Dick’s unfortunately. They sent an email confirming the purchase and when I saw the reply to email adress was random, I realized I had made a mistake and that the purchase was not valid.
