The advertising kept going on and on. Originally, the offer was $19.95 a box, which if used once every 2 weeks should last a year. Then a 50% discount was offered. Then order now and save 60% listing 1-50%, 2-56%, 3-$58, 4-60%. Finally, an extra $5 off on top of 56%. By this time 1 box appeared to be $14.95 and I decided to buy this depending on the shipping fee.
Normally, when ordering like this, I cautiously enter information including bank account. Expecting shipping information to be shown next (as I have always experienced), I entered this. If I am unhappy with the fee, I will stop and not place the order. This time, however, the order was placed before I was made aware of the shipping fee and total purchase price. Although not pleased with this practice, I would have been okay with the order Except the order was for 2 boxes resulting in a total of $39.
In the confusion of the continuous offers, I failed to notice my order was for 2 boxes. As I only wanted 1 for $14.95 I immediately sent an email to cancel the order. I received a reply someone would be contacting me soon and if the matter was urgent to reply URGENT "and we will do our best to get back to you as quickly as possible." When checking my bank account, a withdrawal for $39 had been done the same day before anyone had contacted me.
This morning, 01/13/2025, I have spent a considerable amount of time attempting to reconcile this problem. After 4 unsuccessful attempts to reach them by phone, I tried their Chat option.(There is no address) This did result in being told my order was cancelled and I should receive a refund within 1-10 business days.
So, the wait begins.
