This message was left on my phone. “This is Christine M**** calling for _?_?_?_ this is a courtesy call regarding a claim in my office my intent at this time is to move forward by the end of the business day for whatever reason there was a failure to respond I also need to inform you my efforts were documented the claim has been verified and you were notified any concerns please contact ************…” and when I called back it was picked up by a guy named micheal asking me to confirm my info and staying that I owed 282 on an old payday loan and that if I didnt pay it would be filed in federal court for check fraud. Soon as I started asking questions he got hostile and threatened to hang up bc he was just trying to help. I ended up making a payment and he sent me some document but it wasn’t til after i started thinking maybe it was fraud and after some researched I realized it was indeed.
