We had used Sound Chimneys in the past when the grandfather owned the company. We hired Kevin Weaver in September 2024 to repair a leaking chimney. He did not disclose that his bond was canceled in March of 2024. He did not fix our problem. He promised to replace the top 4 layers with new brick (did not do that), to install a new mortar crown (chimney cap), install a bin liner. None of these things were done. Our chimney is still leaking. We need to hire a new company to repair. He kept saying our chimney may need to be replaced for $30,000. He was a no show several times and wouldn't answer our phone calls.
