I ordered the socks which were promised at a70% discount without any additional details offered until I hit pay. They immediately gave me a statement that my credit card had been charged $60 with no breakdowns of how this price was reached. I assumed that I had been charged full price. I immediately sent them a message that I had been overcharged. They also stated falsely that this sale had to take place in 15 minutes to be valid and that stock was limited to two pallets. Being in a vulnerable state at that moment I did not take time to check their background. They sent me a message back promptly that the socks had been mailed but that I could return them once received (not mentioning shipping charges). The next morning, we received a message from our credit card company that two more charges had been attempted by this company, and we cancelled our cards.

The socks arrived and I again contacted them, using multiple hoops to gain their attention. This time they offered me 50% off the price I paid in a refund. I went back and calculated the price that I believed should have been 70% off and requested that in refund. They again suggested that I return the socks but told me this time that I would be paying the shipping. I was also not able to have money refunded to my credit card because it had been cancelled. By this time, I had looked up their reviews and found that other people had had problems with this company. I also found out that you could actually buy these same socks on Amazon or at Wal-Mart for far less.

I contacted them again, asking for my money and this time they asked for screenshots of the transactions. While I could not offer them that, I did take screenshots from their ads, which I now see continually. They stated that the 70% only applies if you are buying one pair and not four, like I did. Note: There is nothing in the add that states this.

I had also mentioned in my messages that I would now need a check as I had to cancel my credit card due to them. I am hesitant to mail the socks back and receive no money back at all.

In short, they are taking advantage of vulnerable people who are in pain. I had stated in my second message to them that I would be contacting BBB. They have no shame and have worked to close their loopholes and/or confound their consumers. They went so far as to manipulate the typing in one of their message boxes to make the first letter repeat itself so that you had to retype most words.

Also, while the money is being handled within the United States, that company itself is out of Dubai. This is something you discover if you begin digging deeply into their website.
