INSANE!!!

I borrowed $250 from Sonic cash in early Dec. 2022 and the payback amount was 6 payments of $70 which is insane but I was desperate. After that was paid off, they offered me $500 loan with a payback amount of 6 payments of $135 which I agreed to. They make it clear that you can change payment dates if given 10 days notice which I tried to do for my last payment and they denied it saying it was a first payment on a new loan and therefore not able to be moved.. that's the first time I hear that but anyway, I wasn't able to make the payment so I put a stop payment on it. Since then, they have been calling and texting me but nothing too crazy. I have since restructured a consumer proposal I was in and I need to include all my current debt which includes this loan. I texted that to this "Gates Duprius" person and all hell broke loose! Robo calls all day to me,my husband, my 2 best friends, text messages, threats, etc. He says the calls are from GDC Collections and he also said IDC Collections but honestly, no collections agency behaves this way so I think it's just his goons. Either way, this is harrassment and not legal! He says they do not accept a proposal but he has another thing coming when he realizes he has no choice. It's accept the amount you will get through the proposal or get nothing at all.

They did the exact same thing to me. I’m off one medical leave and they refused to take my doctors note and told me I was lying. They have my husband two different collections agencies which they are not apart of. Look up the company on bbb you won’t find them.

These clowns are ruthless, miss a payment and they called every reference over 400 times as well as called employer over 400 times, threatened to call child services and have my kids taken away 🤣 and than when you request any information For IDC the "company" they use for collections is just Gates and Ryan and their little bum buddies pretending to be the senior officer named Jasper O'Neil stay as far away from these guys as you can their an absolute joke and they are not even a legitimate company cannot provide any licensing or anything for a lending company. Call the police or rcmp

The only way to stop this company is to continue to follow up with police. This is harassment to the extreme I missed a payment and he called my job and references hundreds of times. Just posting on a message board will not stop this company. Follow up and keep calling police and rcmp they will have to listen at some point. That’s why this company is getting away with it and getting new customers. Don’t stop and keep posting on all sites available.

I had missed a payment Friday and told them I would pay sometime today, and they said okay that's fine and this morning they started their calling at 6:30am to my grandma, mom and dad sister and brother and i over 200+ to each of us and being a rude [censored] and I last heard I owed them about 200$ left now they say I owe 700$ and something people we all need to take this [censored] down.

Idc collections harassment

I missed one payment on the cash advance plane and they spam called my employer, my work phone, my parents, my sister and threatened them to try and get me to pay. In two hours, they called over 200 times to each individual reference of mine.

This guy from Sonic is absolutely insane. He called me 500 x in a matter of 1.5 hrs..he also called other people 3 to 400 x starting at 4 am. HE IS RELENTLESS. No worries sonic ,as I am gonna do my part to bring u down as well. Auctually surprised your still operating your scam,,won't be long now as police and rcmp are right on your [censored].

They start calling at 630 till 330 I can’t receive a call or make calls as they call 2 or 3 times a minute and it has nothing to do with me they are driving me crazy and told me I have to pay other peoples debts

My son (unbeknownst to me) took a loan with this company. I guess my phone number and my daughters phone number was given to this company. They called one morning and I answered, the guy who called was very rude and threatened me. Then the onslaught of robo phone calls began. 197 calls before lunch (between 8am and 12pm MST) I had to shut my ringer off and try to watch for business calls. My job isn’t a life and death situation, but my daughters is… she is a firefighter and a paramedic, she missed a fire call cause of this company. I did call the company and asked them to please stop calling, and was yelled at again. Not my loan, my son is an adult and took this loan irresponsibility instead of talking to me. This company is absolutely horrible and breaks the laws of this country. Why are they still allowed to operate?

This company is a scam

This company uses an email as a legal document then starts the harrasment early like 4am early miss one payment that’s what u have in store they will threaten to call ur references and that ur file has been sent to collections ur the meat. Head who text non stop at 4am also watch your account shortly after dealing with this company I had a fraudulent cheque god through my account my bank stoped it before the person got money thank god this low life messaged on Christmas Day telling me if I didn’t send e-transfer immediately he was calling and ruining my family’s Christmas

I went to them as a last resort, I set up a new payment plan as I had lost my job and they called my references 300 times in an hour. I’ve gotten 2700 calls from a robo phone number in the last 2 hours. I filed a Cease and Desist against Sonic and the “ IDC “ that doesn’t exist, they’ve still been continuing to blow up my phone as well as two of my references. Absolutely unbelievable. They called one of my references a “liar”and “ stupid “ and are harassing everyone involved. Such a scam bunch of [censored]. Steer clear of these [censored]s.

They were great until I lost my job. I told them as soon as I have money I will send a payment. The harassment and bullying started there . They called my last employer (not employed with anymore) they have harassed my references called my friends phone 65 times and left blank voicmails. Gates from sonic also tried to tell me they sent my file to collections. But gave 2 different names GDC and IDC which when goigled doesn't exist. They were also giving my information regarding the debt to my family and friends.
I will be pursuing legal action against them for harassment. They are now still harassing me from a private number.
I do not recommend this company.

I am in your position. I spoke with financial crimes yesterday, and told them everything, how agressive they are. They are familiar with these skin tags. I told them I only owe them 100, but they are saying I owe like $700 from a 250 loan. The officer said not to even bother paying back what I owe. Every aspect of what they are is illegal in every way. It's not like they can sue you.

They harassed my work in one day called 45 times to them. They called my family 50-69 times in one day. He called me 450 times. I gave him the harassment caution the police informed me to send him. Then he still called me and claimed I owed money I did not. The IDC if you google it is based out of south Africa so he is lying. Also any information they have in regards to your reference and employment are actually not legally allowed to be given out without your consent to do so. So it's fake and a scare tactic to get money from people. I had to inform my family and work all about this and get the police involved. I hope this stops for everyone.
