I purchased a one time order of cat treats for my cats to try. The following month, I was charged (even more than what I originally paid) for a second, unauthorized order. Apparently, the website that I made the first order from defaulted to signing me up for a subscription without my knowing. I immediately contacted the company Kapsule Cat treats, asking for a refund of the $39.99 monthly charge and to cancel the subscription. They refused my request for a refund and wouldn't even agree to cancel the unwanted subscription, instead suggesting that I agree to a different subscription instead. I called my credit card company, who agreed to help me dispute the charges, and that is pending. This is clearly a scam.

This company advertises a 30-day money back guarantee for cat treats used to treat for hairballs. Customers think they are buying a one time item and are automatically signed up as a recurring order. When attempting to contact the merchant to return and get a refund, they are offered to pause or discounts on future orders. My cat will not eat this treat so I wanted to cancel completely. It took me 10 emails before I was given an address in China to return for a full refund or I could request a 30% refund without having to ship the product back using a tracked shipping service which would be at my own expense. This merchant is a scam and all buyers should not buy this product.
