Stay away

I’m on medical leave and needed to change payment dates. I was told this isn’t allowed and am now being harassed non stop regarding $75. I asked for their email to provide the proof and was told I was lying and using my illness as an excuse. Their company doesn’t follow any actual law and they are not a real collection agencies it’s a bunch of [censored] harassing people. Collection agencies have rules in regards to how many times they can call and “Gates” flat out said he doesn’t care he’ll keep calling. When we asked for the business number he hung up on me. When I ask for my outstanding balance I’m ignored. Even when you to communicate back they said your unresponsive. I had two different people emailing and texting back and forth for three hours last night. Why do two people need to harass me. I told them they’d get their payment by end of day and they still continued to email me throughout the day. Stay away from these people. They don’t exists to the bbb either so I couldn’t file a report. Hopefully “Gates” enjoys the business while he still had it because it isn’t looking good for them

Innocent until proven guilty

This Zach Aboud might be innocent! And nobody should have be accused when innocent. But he’s longer found on LinkedIn or tik tok since his potential identity was suggested (again zero proof and unfair to the extreme to accuse anyone) by anyone in our email chain with police involved… but I know when he find out who “Gates” is everyone must share their experience with the person (we will know soon) and make sure he can’t hurt or harass or steal from anyone else and his employer or whatever affiliation he is involved with needs to know the truth.

If that's the case, I will be the first to apologize. But they should be able to track through LinkedIn in.
But, since I posted this, the amount of odd "financial" harrasment, spam email, and followers on LinkedIn from pretty much all the same financial type company is strange.
I also had 2 different fake people try to open an account under my info but fake names.
So somehow that account is associated to Sonic and I think I got a little to close.
I have submitted all my info to police, along with the possibility I was wrong.
The investigations will tell the story.

This fake crazy person “Gates Dupuis” is completely under investigation by a number of agencies… if it is the university football player “Zach Aboud” or whatever he’s going to lose everything.. and if it’s it not that guy I feel bad for him… but for “Gates” and his loser company the time is nearly up. Ha ha he with any luck will be jailed.. all hos victims need to keep reporting him to the police. Don’t stop.. it’s close to the end for him. And I don’t think he will do well in jail.

Rudest company, worst staff

This company is the worst. Don’t ever try to get a loan from them, they will just harass you on each payday until you give them the payment and do not accommodate if you do not respond. I have gotten suspended from my job due to the constant emails and texts this company sends out. Rudest staff ever, very demeaning and calls me a liar when I do not pay on time.

If you borrow money.. it’s simple, you pay it back. I’ve ran into an issue lost my job and avoided sonic they have tactics that WORK. They obviously wouldn’t need to pull these tactics if you just stick with an agreement that YOU signed via email. I’m literally still in the middle of paying them back, i keep in touch with them every 2 weeks and PAY them because I AGREED to that. If anything he’s teaching you all a lesson. If you sign an agreement don’t bail out.

To the “references” they’re spamming teach your friends how to commit to an agreement and you wouldn’t be in this issue.

They even yelled at the secretary. Also the way they got me to get on the phone with them is they said it was a family emergency! Omg I want them charged!

INSANE!!!

I borrowed $250 from Sonic cash in early Dec. 2022 and the payback amount was 6 payments of $70 which is insane but I was desperate. After that was paid off, they offered me $500 loan with a payback amount of 6 payments of $135 which I agreed to. They make it clear that you can change payment dates if given 10 days notice which I tried to do for my last payment and they denied it saying it was a first payment on a new loan and therefore not able to be moved.. that's the first time I hear that but anyway, I wasn't able to make the payment so I put a stop payment on it. Since then, they have been calling and texting me but nothing too crazy. I have since restructured a consumer proposal I was in and I need to include all my current debt which includes this loan. I texted that to this "Gates Duprius" person and all hell broke loose! Robo calls all day to me,my husband, my 2 best friends, text messages, threats, etc. He says the calls are from GDC Collections and he also said IDC Collections but honestly, no collections agency behaves this way so I think it's just his goons. Either way, this is harrassment and not legal! He says they do not accept a proposal but he has another thing coming when he realizes he has no choice. It's accept the amount you will get through the proposal or get nothing at all.

They did the exact same thing to me. I’m off one medical leave and they refused to take my doctors note and told me I was lying. They have my husband two different collections agencies which they are not apart of. Look up the company on bbb you won’t find them.
