On Sept 4, 2023 I ordered a sofa cover from Sofa Guards. The website stated that they were high quality and that "We are so confident that you will love our SofaGuards, we offer a 30 day warranty period for if you are unhappy with your order."

On Sept 16, 2023 I received the sofa cover and I was VERY DISAPPOINTED.

The cover in the photo on the website was a dark warm, magenta purple. The cover I received was a light grayish lavender. The quality was also cheap and lower than I expected.

On Sept 18, I emailed customer service stating that they sent me the wrong color as it was not the same sofa cover in the photo on the website. I included a photo from the website which shows two colored different items.

Between Sept 18-Sept 20, I exchanged 8+ emails with Abby from SofaGuards. They are gaslighting me and they refuse to acknowledge that the item pictured on their website is not what I received. I told them this many times, sent them photos, and told them I was also disappointed with the quality. Each time is a different excuse why they won't allow a return or refund. First they say they do not accept returns. Later after I asked for a prepaid return label as it is their mistake, and they gave me the address of somewhere in Chine where I can send them item. Now they will not issue a pre-paid return label. Instead they want me to ship it to China which costs $80+ for an item I paid $63.

Summary, I am not happy with the item as it is not what was pictured on their website. I asked for a refund or prepaid return label and was told no. They are misleading customers with the photo of this item and do not have an acceptable way for me to return the item.

I do not want anyone else to be mislead or swindled by this company.

I have copies of the e-mail communications as well as screenshots of the SofaGuard item page and return policy.

I received an ad on instagram and ordered a sofa cover from SofaGuards on July 9, 2023. I was sent a tracking link which at first appeared to work (item coming from China) then stopped providing updates. 3 weeks after ordering i contacted the company to ask for an update. They provided me a random tracking number (no carrier information) and no link, so i was effectively unable to track. I asked for another update a few weeks later after waiting the specified number of business days they quote as their delivery period. They were still unable or unwilling to provide tracking information despite my credit card being charged in full when the order was placed. August 25, 2023 they stated if they could not provide an update by the end of the week they would refund me after I threatened to dispute with my credit card as this appears now to be a scam and that i will never receive the item i paid for. It is now Sept 1 and i have received no update, no refund, no contact at all.
