I received a phone call from 808-471-2158 on March 10th 2021. When I answered the phone there was a recorded message stating something to the effect that Fraudulent activities were being conducted in association with my social security number and that a law suit had been filed against me. It did not use my name or my social number just said that in general. It then said to press #1 to find out more details about this law suit being filled against me. I instead hung up and tried to call the number back. No one answered at the number and there was no voice mail set up, the phone just kept ringing.

Said that my Social Security number was being used illegally and they needed information right away and if I didn’t give them information right away that the authorities would be out within 45 minutes to arrest me when I asked them questions and then when I refused they kept saying you’re threatening me when I did not threaten them I was just asking them to verify addresses and questions that they had asked me I was asking them before I answer I need to know where you’re at and who you are what your badge number is and where you’re located. He only said Texas answered vaguely and then just started saying I would be arrested in the authorities would be coming out to get me

I received a phone call on my landline phone this morning and person on phone was a women recording saying she was a police sargeant working for Social Security and that either mine or my husband's Social Security number was found being used in Texas and that I needed to speak to another police officer and to click number 1 on my phone! I hung up! Never clicked over !

I received a call 3/4/2021 stating that my Social Security number had been compromised. They stated they were an officer and to speak to someone to press 1. When pressed 1 they asked how they could help me.

Someone called me and told me my SS check was being suspended due to criminal activity by myself - they indicated that I had fraudulently rented a car and had drugs in it and the DEA was looking for me. They asked if I had a bank account and wanted that info and then said they were going to issue me a new SS number and continue my SS payments with the new number and new bank account. They gave me the number to verify that they are real, I called it and it was not a good number

Recorded message stating there was a problem with my social security - block or something against my number. I needed to press "1" - I just hung up. I know that they notify you by mail and not by phone. It surprised me that the caller ID had an Ossian, IN number.

I received a partial voicemail message on my cell phone that said I needed to call them back or I would be sued. Knowing it was a scam, I called the number from my work phone number, and they told me they were "Socal Security." I asked to clarify "Are you the Social Security Administration?" They said yes and needed my case number. I told them I didn't have one and asked where they were located. The scammer told me he was in San Antonio, TX, but could not explain how I reached him using a Los Angeles area code. I continued to push for information and asked why I was being sued. Hilariously, he said because I was under investigation for smuggling drugs from Mexico! I gave him an "A" for his creativity and wished him well in his special reserved suite in hell.
