I just received a call on my Verizon phone # from a recording of a person with an accent claiming that my social security # has been reported being used in fraudulent activity. I called back the number on my caller ID, (762-888-3385, Georgia) and it was a bogus recording of a woman claiming that I reached social security. This phone # really works. Someone from the Federal Bureau of investigations really needs to get on this or someone from ScamPulse.com right away before they take down this Number as being a real working #. I did not speak to anyone, I just wanted to see if the phone # actually would work. These people may be able to get caught and apprehended if you act today! Thank you.

Person had an India accent. Said that my SSN was compromised and it has been locked. They said that they froze my SSN and wanted information from me to verify who I was. They asked if I had a case ID#. They said that they were calling from Texas and gave their badge number. Sound like he was in a call center. Very noisy in the background.

I got threatened by two calls with different problems and they were mentioning that my SSN has issues and was being used. The numbers are 786.305.3409 and 509.924.8886

786.305.309 - (7/16) they mentioned there is a problem with my SSN and they were going to retire my number. They threaten that someone is using my number and that is why they will be retiring my number. They mentioned that if I don't call back then I would get into some big problems and suffer the consequences.

509.924.8886 - (7/20) they mentioned that someone in south Texas is using number and they were going to change my number. If I don't call them back then I wont get my money from the SSN.

I received a phone message from the Social Security Administration. Federal agent Allen Roberts. He gave a badge number. They said I could lose benefits. I was in jeopardy. A car registered in my name and license number was involved with drugs in Texas.Wanted me to call them at 559-515-4294. They had my name. I called the number back. I gave my address. They asked for my Social Security number. I gave the last four digits. It sounded like I was involved with a crime. They asked for the name of my banks. I gave the bank names. They did not ask for an account number. I did not know this was a scam.

I am visiting my elderly father in Ohio. I noticed several missed calls from an "800" number on his phone. I answered two of the 800 calls. There was a robo type messenger advising that my dad's ssn is going to be blocked and has been targeted. The robo caller then directed me to call 844 450 0515 to get it resolved. So I called the "844" number and got a live person with an accent who answered, "Thank you for calling Social Security, how may I help you?". I advised the person that I am concerned about the phone calls I am receiving. He then asked for my SSN. I told him I cannot do that and he disconnected the call. I called the 844 number back and asked to be removed from their list. He then advised me to change my phone number and disconnected again. I am reporting this number because I KNOW representatives will not ask for an SSN. Please help!
