Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
SMART SOLUTION Website indicates they have “fair prices” and are “honest”. Neither of these things is true.
Jakson then charged service fee of $155 to replace the 2 sensors. This took 20 minutes with wiring stapled to my ceiling rather than going through attic.
He then offered preventative maintenance for $175 on one door. I watched while he sprayed oil and tightening bolts and took 10 minutes.
He left large flammable oil drippings all over the floor without cleaning them up.
I did not receive a work order prior to work and only received sheet to sign when credit card was presented for payment. He did not sign “work order” so not sure why he thinks it is a “contract”.
I did not check any of the boxes for “work order” as it was not presented to me prior to work commencing.
Total billed was. $655 and reasonable bill based on quote from Kitsap Garage Door would be$230 with correct tax.
Tax charge is also wrong and usurious. Tax charge was $75 on $580 with no identification of additional credit card charge of 3%.
After calling to dispute charges he yelled at me and said credit card fee of 3% was added to tax. This still does not add up.
I have never dealt with such a sleazy contractor in 3 house renovations over 40 years.
