Rosa texted me from (949)732-1815 and said she got my "impressive resume" from Career Builder and wanted me to call (949) 617-3580 to schedule an interview. Not knowing better I did and a man answered... Thanks for this page! I'm out, or is it Rosa that's out?

I have received the same message from "Rosa @ SLD" with a different phone number: 949-617-3580. Thank you for alerting everyone that this is a waste of time, when I called and learned about the zoom interview it sure sounded fishy. Thanks you everyone for posting!

Just the same as others I received a text out of the blue. Called the number hoping to find out what position. The company was hiring for but the person said they had no details about it just they would setup a 1-on-1 interview via zoom. Was getting a little suspicious about the whole thing but figured what heck I'll see where yhis goes. Attended the Zoom meeting and like others here have said instead of a 1 on 1 you get this giant group of people everyone muted and they run this video that sounds great but really tells you absolutely nothing about the company and what they do. Then we were treated to a 20 mins of Rosa Bross touting how great yhe company is and vaguely saying that the company thru the use of multiple proven financial strategies helps people to make their money grow for them. After this they started pairing people off to the 1-on-1 interviews by this point I knew the whole thing was a sham act as I have seen these scams run before. Hoping I could possavle get more info I continued to wait to talk to a "individual director" as they put it but after another 15-mins of waiting the meeting was ended without getting to everyone still waiting to be met. At this point it appears they have moved on from the insurance agent training scam to using the same tactics for a financial advisor training scam.

Got the same text from 9496743856. This is Rosa @ SLD. We received your resume from Career Builders and would like to schedule an interview. Please call 949-767-3949. Thanks for this thread.

Same experience here. Have only just posted my resume on Career Builder and already in two days have received (10) texts and enumerable direct emails! Two thumbs down, WAY down for Career Builder! I am done with them and deleting all of my information!

Careerbuilder is a great way to find a job position. I have found employment through them in the past and yes, if you have a good Resume that shows job experience in your field you will get quick response and this is typical. After all, that's the point of placing your Resume on a job board, after 30 days you'll receive less employer contacts but you can look up jobs yourself and search online for the employer's address and websites. Having said that, scam folks have figured out that job boards are a great source for getting people's info by posing as employers, this is not the fault of the job boards. Tips for personal info on your Resume: Do not enter full address, obtain a dedicated email to receive employment offers and do not provide a phone number. Happy job hunting.

omg -I am so glad I did my homework - I received message from Rosa yesterday identical to what was revealed here. I called twice and when someone finally answered it was not Rosa but this person said she could help me. I am supposed to be participating in a zoom session for the corporate overview at noon tomorrow. I had mentioned another home based service that I discovered was a scam via research before I did my scheduled interview. Perhaps my negativity today about this type of approach made the SLD individual hesitant to proceed as while she had scheduled me before I brought that experience up, she has not yet sent me the zoom information she had promised. "Rosa" had found my info on CareerBuilder too. JG

It's a cruel scam especially now that people are really looking for jobs and they send sms with: This is Rosa, dont't forget about your scheduled interview".

I called the number out of curiosity last night and a man answered. He wouldn't tell me much. Wanted to schedule a webinar so they could go over the job live. My company actually does something similar with remote jobs, and I had a full conversation with the guy. He never did send the email with the webinar link like he said yet.

me too. This is Rosa. dont forget about your interview

On Sept. 9, 2020, I received a text as well, allegedly from 'Rosa.' I called the number, it rang without an answer, so I sent a text and received a call back wanted to set up a Zoom interview.

But I grew suspicious and did an internet search and their Facebook was questionable. In Facebook, when you click on the hyperlink to their supposed website, it states its under construction.

Strange and eerie, for sure, so I will not be taking part in anything to do with 'SLD.'

I also received a text from Rosa 949-421-6263...about a position, Called the number and no one answered. I decided to do a reverse number look up and saw these negative reviews. Hope that something can be done about these individuals that prey on people that are seriously in need of employment and desperately feeling hopeful because you see a light at the end of the tunnel and it ends up being bogus. Some of the reviews dated back from 2015. REALLY! Thanks for nothing!

Received a text message that someone found my resume on CareerBuilder and had a job opportunity. They followed with a number to call. Once I called, they asked for a Zoom interview but would not provide me with any information about the job or why they reached out. I was suspicious and looked into it and they were previously scamming people under the company name WFG.

I received a text message that said, this is Rosa@SLD regarding your resume on CB. We have a couple of questions to possibly schedule an online interview. call back 949-421-6263.

I didnt know what SLD was before receiving a random text. Looks like from the research ive done they get you in a "interview" but is really a seminar and want you to pay at the end.

The same situation! Thank you for your notification.
I got the same text message.

Scaaaaaaam‼️‼️‼️

Did anyone else recieve this text from them? I went to their online interview before so I guess they still have my number. I am glad I didn't sign with them. Take a look at this site and don't go to their interview.

I just received a similar text: "Hi Doriano Rossi, This is Rosa @ SLD regarding your resume. We have a couple of questions and possible schedule (sic) an online interview. Call me at 949-767-3946"

Received a spam text from 949-894-4918 "Hi, Rachel ****, This is Rosa @ SLD regarding your resume on CB. We have a couple of questions to possibly schedule an online interview. Call back 949-421-6263."

Got an instant message from Rosa @ SLD regarding my resume. I never shared a resume with Rosa. Furthermore they are a financial services company yet had no SEC licences displayed on their sparse one page uninformative website. After reading the comments, no company will ask for your SS number on the first zoom interview. And no company asks for money when you apply (for background checks) - that's just the cost of business. And airplanedad-Go [censored] yourself,
you troll.

drpain, airplanedad here. Gotta tell you how bad I feel for sticking up for these people. It turns out y'all are right about this place. I got out after I found out the truth about what was going on.

ust attended one of their so called interviews via Zoom, 75 participants to start I've never seen anything like that. Everyone was asked to mute themselves which is industry norm on large calls, but from what I saw everyone was pre-muted when joining, except for the coordinator. Then was presented a intro video that was just flashy images, some hip music & buzzword bingo, literally had no idea who their clients were, how they made their money or what they did as a service. After the video the presenter again brought up the need for everyone to be muted (why so people can't ask questions?). At this point I had too many redflags go up. I google SLD Financial and as soon as I hit "SLD F" it autocompleted entries 3 down was "SLD Financial Scam"... Not looking too good. That's when I found Jose R.'s review for SLD immediately after and began digging.

After visiting their website & BBB it clear they are a scam. They are NOT BBB accredited, only 1.5 years old and they are a sole proprietorship, meaning single person has control of the operation . In addition when visiting their webpage you realize none of their JavaScript even works, won't direct you to any other page. Please don't take them seriously, waste your time, or most importantly give this individual any additional personal data since they seem to get a hold of your resume via job search portals.

I apologize I can't tell you the exact scam SLD Financial is trying to pull off, as I left the meeting 5 minutes in realizing it was a scam, but please look for yourself I provided the links below.

The scam is that they will make you pay $133 at the end of the zoom call. They say it’s for training and licensing course. Not fall for that, I’m part of a company that gives you all of that for free! I’m pretty sure that money goes to that sole proprietor pocket!

OMG! Glad I checked. Got same thing...Obviously will not reply. thank you again for creating this post
