Most likely a scam!

I received a text about a job with Skyvera. Went through the interview on Hangout…red flag number one…got hired. Then they told me that they were going to send me a check to purchase all of the equipment to set up my office. Strange but ok. Then comes the scam…I was told that I would need to get an automated time tracker..and I needed to purchase this for 300.00…but of course I would be reimbursed. I told them that I was not comfortable spending my money for this item and the interviewer became a little rude. Very suspicious.

...I have never heard of this company and they also had my home phone number as a group text with this message. I NEVER put my home phone number on job applications!

Scamers are going above and beyond with our personal info.

I share the exact same thing. I realized there was something wrong when the pay was 18/hr then after training it jumps up to 30/hr why so much and then they asked that I download coinbase and then they asked for the password that's why I decided oh no that's enough because people are using our names and info for anything.

I totally shared the exact same experience and what really made me back out is first why are you paying 18/hr for training but then the pay jumps to 30/hr and then I was asked to download coin base and he wanted my password too that's when I decided oh no will not be doing that. So many people are using your name out here for all sorts of things

Type of a scam Employment

My wife submitted application/resume, received text from “Peter Olson” that they were impressed and wanted her to log onto Discord to setup interview with “Frank”, and he was very pushy about it. The job posting stated the position was paid $30/hr for data entry from home.

I called the number that texted her and it went to voicemail so I left a message, I said I had questions about my application process. I received a text “??”. I replied “is this Frank?” Then I received the EXACT same text from “Peter Olson” that my wife received stating how they were impressed with my resume. I asked where they read my resume, that I never sent. Then I received “yes this is frank”.

This, along with virtually nothing on the internet about them, equals too many red flags to count.
