Just scrolling through Facebook I saw "Big Lots" was having a sale of up to 90% off. When I clicked on the link it took me to this website, www.simmsfishingonsale.com, but it said Big Lots at the top and had their logo. And at the bottom it said that it was a trusted site with five star reviews and check marks saying they're certified. Now, I see other people are warning that it's a scam, but I had already paid for a list of items. Do not trust this website for any reason!

Same thing happened to me .. I was so happy with the view of items and purchases that didn't click that it sounded to good to be true.

Saw the name when i sent the transaction - then i knew i f'd up.

I was scrolling through Facebook when I came across an ad for Big Lots - 90% off going out of business sale. I then proceeded to order a few items at a "unreal" price. But ordered furniture then entered credit card information on 2/14/25. My payment was processed and I was given a order number. I immediately felt it was a scam after I hit the button. I checked my online bank account and knew certain of scam as it showed transaction from a ROMORYMSUSD Sterling Co 123456. I contacted my bank within minutes. They explained Monday was a holiday, it being Friday and transaction just made and was pending, I'd have to wait until Tuesday to get with bank for new debit card with new number and file dispute on transaction at that time. Total purchase was $56.88.
