Scammer Text: "Hello this is Julie from ABBOT HEALTH SERVICES. The company is interviewing right now for a Remote Customer service/Office & Accounting positions (Remote) and your resume matched, pay is $29/. You're required to contact the company hire Manager (Mr James Springer) NOW! through the Signal Appfor the interview, Download the Signal App from your App store or go to signal.org and contact the HR Manager on the Signal App using the phone# (3602270143). Good luck!"

I have typed in the exact wording with all the grammar and mispells.

Received an email to download app but decided to research the matter first and found a similar scam posted on BBB. Here's the email I received below.

Hello Good morning i hope this email meets you well

Our Company name : Marathon Oil Corp

Your Resume was Forwarded to Us from The Clark Team Thank You

I am contacting you in regards to your resume you submitted for the Remote Data Entry Specialist. If interested, you are required to contact the Assistant Hiring Manager Mrs Haley Watson on Signal Messenger for an interview now. The pay for this position is $30.41 per hour.

Benefits: Health, Dental, Life and AD&D Insurance,Employee Wellness and 401k plans,employee stock purchase plan(ESPP),Paid Time Off and Holidays. These takes place after working for the company after 30 days.

They asked me to take a data entry position for $25/hr. They then asked for my credit card information via the website/app because they said their webpage was down and they needed money for start up costs.

Reached out via email with Job Offer and JD requirements. Required app download either signal app or Microsoft Teams. conducted initial job assessment and interview type questions via Text only on dowloaded app.... Once asked for my Bank name as part of the "Payroll & Working Schedule" section, I knew it could not be legit. The exact wording in question used: "What is the name of the Bank which you currently operate so as to see if it tallies financially with the company's official salary payment account?". I skipped the question to see how far the scam would go and a few more interview type questions came up - until I was left w/no return response and then I deleted the app.

The first week is always for training purposes, setting up office and setting up profile in company database for a regular income.

The company will provide you with required equipment needed for you to start work with during the training week, since you will be working remotely, we are looking for you to start work as soon as possible.

We will be referring you to our verified company vendor to acquire the equipment needed to setup mini office at home, The funds for the complete working merchandise will be provided by the company’s accounting department including a first week training allowance allocated to you.

They asked what bank I bank right off the bat and then said I was going to be making $35/hr and not Realistic!!

Kaley Parsons from EFICODE Company texted about my resumé being approved on CAREER BUILDER for a Remote Data Entry/ Customer Service position paying $42 hr. Was instructed to download and set up Singal Private Messenger App on https://signal.org/download/ ( They misspelled as Singal). Then instructed to add HR Manager Mr. Patrick Hoffman, using his Signal Number 1-320-743-1866. And to send him an invite to start an online interview using the code EF-3515.

Notify me once connected or if you have any issue connecting. - when I downloaded and contacted the person they proceeded to have a video conference with me and told me it would last for 5 to 10 seconds just to see who I am talking to the words that the person was saying did not align with their mouth. I could tell that it was another person behind the screen, controlling it. it feel like at AI. -

I seen the post on Waverly Nebraska Community page about a work at home position. I messaged the gal who posted it on there and she sent me the directions of how to apply, they scammed her page as well. I applied on signal.com. They then wanted me to send me information about my id.me, social security number and driver's license which I sent them and I was still thinking this was a legit job. Until then they asked me if I had a credit card and how much I had on it and they would put money on there for me to purchase the equipment needed for the job, $2000.00. I told them that it was possible to deposit money on my credit card and then they also said that they pay off the rest of the debt on the card, whatever I had because they wanted their employees to have good credit. Oh my goodness! Then I 100% for sure knew it was a scam. It is a job through Telus Communications and I have all of the messages.

I was contacted by Tianna Delport regarding a customer service position with Fulcrum Genomics LLC. . During the conversation there were several red flags. I mistakenly gave personal address and name information. There was the request to download Skype and speak to my new supervisor. I felt uneasy so I conducted a web search on Tianna Delport and found the ScamPulse.com scam alert. I stopped everything at the discovery of this.

Was contacted via text. I knew it was a scam so no personal info was given. They wanted me to download Signal to communicate with a 'hiring manager'. I didnt let it go further than the initial text. I let them know I knew they were scammers and told them to go 'eff' themselves. They gave a phone number for the hiring manager 941.999.1889. I never did anything they requested. They were about the 5th or 6th set of scammers who have approached me this month. Be aware everyone.

Signal interview with ten questions. Told me they will send money for equipment. Follow up interview in the the next day. I looked up company and saw it was a scam and told the person not to contact me again as I know it is a scam and I would be reporting. No response.

Contacted via email, I was told to schedule a interview with Mrs. Ginette Stephenson. Everything seemed fairly normal. Then she mentioned a CHECK that would be sent out to my address. Which should be used to purchase hardware. All of this was being done through the Signal messenger app. Once I mentioned the scam, they stopped responding.

I was sent a text message for a job, they asked me to sign on to the app store to connect to the Operations Director on the signal app to begin an interview, the phone number they provided for Mrs. Priscilla Witner the call just disconnects after the first ring
