A gift card was purchased for me at a Walgreens store in Louisville. The package indicates its a prepaid Mastercard from SecureSpend. I activated the card then logged into the webpage to create a PIN. The site also states I have a balance of $50. When I attempt to shop online, however, the card is declined. According to their webpage the card CAN be used online. After typing SecureSpend on Google, multiple articles appear from others also being scammed by SecureSpend. Customer service is no help at all, as they say they'll look into the issue and give you a return call, but they don't.
