I received a text regarding a reasonably legitimate job offer. The employer stated that they had found my information on an Indeed job board. I did my own research and the employee names checked out. Everything seemed pretty legit until they said there was an issue mailing me a check for on-boarding supplies. They said they would email me a pdf check to print out and started asking queations about my remote deposits. Iasked Gemini if it was a scam and it said yes. I sent the Gemini transcript to "Peter" who immediately stopped reaponding and took the company logo off of his Telegram account.
