They call and want to give me a lower APR on all of my accounts. They us a number they have cloned so it look like for example my sears credit card is call with the #on the back of my card. When you call the # back you get Sears Credit. Sears credit told me the #on the back of my card would never call. They started calling from a new #. I blocked that # but they still call . A robot leave me a message the number that calls me now is 208-271-789 it is not even a real Number it only has 8 digits.When I call the phone company to see if I can get the real # they cant find it and tell me to put my name on the do not call list. I have done that like 10 times. There is not a way to stop them from calling me.

Type of a scam Online Purchase

Tried to purchase item from U.S. Army Navy store (usarmynavystore.com) when it came time to verify credit card it stated that information on card was wrong and to call Sears Credit Card at 1-800-335-1517. Before I called this number I called the Sears number on the back of the credit card and asked an agent at Sears if this was one of their numbers. Sears informed me it was not and said it was most likely scam number to get info. Out of curiosity I called 1-800-335-1517 and when someone answered they had a heavy Spanish accent and identified themselves as Sears Credit Card and asked for my credit card number before even asking who I was or why I was calling. Needless to say I hung up. Sears is issuing new credit cards.
