Starting yesterday, I began receiving voicemail messages from a caller (512-631-1484), who identified their company as Process Service Department. They said they were attempting to deliver a legal document and needed me to call back asap.
This morning that company called my workplace and talked with the office manager. They said they would be coming to my place of employment to deliver a court order summons Case #2024-55840 and quote: “if you need to change the delivery address, please call 855-512-1381 and ask to speak with Jason Craig, legal department.” So, I called the 855 number and a man first asked if he were speaking to me, he stated my name, and if my date of birth was ---- and if my social security number was, ——. Being caught off guard, I confirmed my name and birthdate but refused to give SSN information. When I said was not giving my social security number over the phone, the man got angry and said they were serving me papers and hung up the phone.
