Follow-up details:
-They added "CO" to the name of a real recruiter (real one going after him)
-They have 2 other similar sites: "prostaffingco" and "spectrumstaffingco"
-Street address of business is fake
-Site create just after Covid announced. This was PLANNED as a scam for people losing their jobs to do the virus (i.e. Savio is total [censored])
-Phone numbers are all showing up as VOIP (which can be fake numbers)

I had the exact same thing happen to me. Amazon job, and they required an additional certification. They listed 3, and I tried to select one from ScrumAlliance. They said Amazon only accepted the Training Academy option. They also mentioned there was a problem with the CPrime course. I asked them to specify, but that's when they stated only Training Academy was accepted.

It was word-for-word what everyone else posted here.

I'm going to report both Training Academy and Elevate to BBB, Department of consumer affairs, and office of state attorney general. Luckily I paid for this by Credit Card.

Same experience here... except I actually got a phone interview with "John" supposedly with Amazon. It seemed fairly convincing and took about 20 minutes. After not hearing anything back about a second interview Salvio told me the position had been put on hold due to COVID even though it was supposed to remote work position anyway.

What caused me to question this posting was another "recruiter" tried the same scam on me from another recruiting company (John and Bakke Consulting) and all of a sudden both instances came in to question... they are either getting referral fees for directing you to the training or are actually unscrupulous sales arms of the training companies.

To take advantage of people who are out of work and with limited income is cold and ruthless, it's unfortunate that it is so difficult to track them down and hold them accountable.

These guys got me... Sort of. Lol. I decided to sign up for the certificate through an actually reputable organization and NOT from their short list. What a damn shame. Oh well...

Just sharing that I filed complaints against this scam with ecommerce.gov and the FTA as well as the issuing certificate authority. The trainingacademy.ca site had its certificate revoked and the site is no longer reachable.

Same scam was attempted on me today but I did not fall for it (thankfully). The job was not listed on the site and no one answered the number listed on the site when I called. Hi there, same thing just happened to me yesterday too.
After speaking to a lady on the phone, I received an email from Savio with the job description details (on the phone they had mentioned Amazon, but it was not mentioned anywhere in the email).
I was asked about the Product Owner Scrum certification and was assured if I was “shortlisted” (which would take an hour to confirm) I could then sign up for the training (has to be from Amazon’s accepted list of trainers).

I had the same experience last week. An initial phone call, followed up by a call from Savio who stressed the need for Scrum certification. His email that included the acceptable certifications listed trainingacademy.ca first, and (surprise) with the lowest cost. He mentioned Amazon on the phone a few times, though the company was not mentioned in the email.

The same thing happened to me folks!

I spoke to both Savio and Agnes, and I felt compelled to purchase the Scrum Master certifications from one of the sites they mentioned, so I I purchased the cheapest option from trainingacademy.ca. After my purchase, I noticed that the address at the bottom of the confirmation email that i received back was for a package store.

Also, while elevatestaffingco.com DOES have a website, I couldn't locate their company profile on LinkedIn, so that was pretty fishy.

The fact that Savio and Agnes along with the woman from trainingacademy.ca all had Indian accents furthered my doubts.

The final indication that this was a scam, was when the person from the Scrum Master website told me that if I provided a verbal confirmation that I agreed to the terms of use for the tool, that I would not be able to cancel the training within the allotted 48 hour time frame for a full refund (even though I had an email that advised otherwise, and I read the same email to her).

My credit card company had already alerted me that the charge was potentially fraudulent because it was an out of US purchase, and while I went to get the number to call them from my email, I noticed that Savio had sent me an email about 10 minutes before the woman who was supposed to walk me through using trainingacademy.ca called.

Basically, this thing is FULLY a scam to get people to purchase a Scrum Master certification from one of the sites that Savio sends, and if you did make a purchase, reach out to your banking or credit card institution to see if you are eligible to have your money refunded.

I received the same type of call and email. It really seemed too easy to get an interview with Amazon, but it was all contingent on signing up for a scrum certification or being in the process of certifications and provided 3 links to course providers. One of which was very cheap compared to all others I had found. While on the cheaper site, there was a person that started a chat. After answering some questions, they then asked for a credit card. That's weird! Then I start to search for Amazon hiring scams and found this site. Below is the email I received from Savio. The name of the first person that called was Eric. Both very nice and personable. Man, they have got their act together on this scam.

I believe I too was scammed by this company and signed up for a scrum certification to interview. I feel so foolish.

They post a BA job position on dice, once the get your application Agnes calls you to about the job and then Savio sends the job description, the then call and play on the covid 19 outbreak offering a Remote BA job with Amazon that requires scrum certification but Amazon will accept a candidate in the progress of obtaining a certification ... he tells you you have been short listed by Amazon for an interview but you need to show proof you are in the progress of obtaining a certification. He advise you register and pay for the course/certification with a preferred amazon online training academy with a .ca domain. Course/Certification cost 599

Using activity diagrams, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, flowcharts, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, interviews, and workflow analysis to Induce and manage requirements.
Gathering information from multiple sources and critically evaluating it, reconciling conflicts, disseminating high-level information into details and distinguishing user requests from their true needs .
Driving and challenging the presumptions of business units on how they will successfully execute their plans.
Interpreting business needs of customers and translating them into application and operational requirements with the help of strong analytical and product management skills.
Establishing the technical vision and analyse trade-offs between usability and performance needs by teaming up with developers and subject matter experts.
Liaising between technology teams, support teams and business units.
Using standard templates and natural language to develop requirement specifications.
Serving as a channel between the internal-external customers and the software development team through which requirements flow
Communicating and collaborating Proactively with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and functional requirements and delivering Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs as and when required
Delivering work products throughout the project life cycle
Analyzing information from surveys and workshops, task analysis, and business process description
Conferring with project managers to define concepts and using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems.

Key Duties:

Defining and documenting customer business functions and processes
Identifying, defining and documenting business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements and levels of systems access after consulting with functional unit management and personnel
Analyzing the practicability of and developing requirements for new systems and up gradations to existing systems
Ensuring the system design is perfect as per the needs of the users
Helping in developing a comprehensive change in management strategy for the court.
Maintaining wizard-driven configuration tables in the case management system
Participating in user acceptance testing and undertaking the functionality testing of new system
Assisting technically in training and coaching professional and technical staff
Developing a training curriculum and conducting formal training sessions covering assigned systems module.

Requirements:

The successful Business Analyst will have:
Must have 2+ years of business analysis job experience
MUST have a good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle like Waterfall, Scrum, Agile and should be able to participate in and be part of high performing technology teams
MUST have prior experience writing business and system level requirements on data centric analytics type projects and applications.
Scrum Certificate is mandatory (in process is acceptable)
