Responding to an ad on Indeed,I received a call from Penny,asking if I would like to try out this fundraising job.

The job was to solicit donations from customers at the Bedford Sobeys store for the Children's Foundation of Canada.

The shodiness of the setup set off alarms and I did a bit of online research.

The charity is registered and reported earnings of $13000 last year as per the government of Canada site.

I was paid in cash from the donations. No records of employment, tax deductions,etc.

Elemental website with no real information.

This is operating at various grocery stores,Canadian Tire, on wekends.
