I own a timeshare(Right to use) in Cancun, Mexico. Business by name "Santa Fe Business Brokers" located in 301 Garfield Street, Santa Fe, New Mexico, 87501 with the website address https://www.santafebusinessbrokersrealty.com/index.html contacted me through email and offered me a lucrative price for selling my timeshare and claimed that they have a buyer and didn't reveal the buyer name. I ended up paying lot of money so far and now again they're asking $15,000 more as an insurance bond claiming that Citibanamex bank in Mexico is not releasing the funds. I told them I don't have money to pay and cancel the process and pay my money back. Now they are telling me that I won't get most of my money back as they have already paid it to Mexican government for getting RFC, state tax etc., and asking for their commission of $2000. If I don't pay, they said they'll go to arbitration and I've to come in person to New Mexico etc.,I called upon the New Mexico AG office to ask for the details of this company and they referred me to contact Office of Business License at City of Santa Fe(505-955-6551). Office of Business License confirmed to me that there is no business registered with the name "Santa Fe Business Brokers" at 301 Garfield Street, Santa Fe, New Mexico, 87501.
