Just got my check in the mail from Saltex Inc. supermarket customer sweep. check is for $8000.00 and they want a fee of $7,000 + . and the amount I won was $900,000 . The balance to be paid in full and delivered by UPS/FEDEX.
When I dialed the number as the letter instructed me to do , I asked for Robert Goodman. When the phone picked up on the other line they said "hello.' that's it . Suspicious . He took my confirmation number from me and then read back the check number and asked if I was in Ca. etc. then he told me to go and deposit the check and call him back for instructions to complete the transaction. I have no idea how people get scammed on this , the only was is if you write a check out of your own pocket before the check clears. Still I am PISSED!

Scammer sent correspondence via mail. Correspondence indicated that individual was recipient of sweepstakes winnings. Correspondence came with a fake check for over $8,000.00. Correspondence requested that individual send in a check for $7.897.00 as a processing fee in order to receive more funds from the sweepstakes.

Saltex Inc sent a check in the mail for $8997.28, as a supermarket sweepstake prize. There was a letter included stating what supermarkets are participating (i.e.walmart, costco...) Once this check was cashed you would receive the rest of the price $871,003. Stated it was from the Bank of novaschoia
