Type of a scam Phishing

Repeated calls from No Caller ID, always someone claiming to be with debt consolidation, or relief, or credit services, or credit relief program. This morning asked to be put on do not call list. Rep on phone said, "Why?" And I replied, because I asked you to. I repeated the request and she hung up on me. This afternoon I recieved a call from a gentleman (this time with a number showing on caller ID) who started with all the same things as previous phone calls. THIS time he said that he didn't understand why I kept refusing to talk to his collegues, and mentioned my hanging up on the rep this morning. (I hadn't, she hung up on me.) I started asking for the name of the company. The website for the company. Every time I asked him for a name it changed. I was in front of my computer and the web address he gave me didn't go anywhere. I asked 5 times total to be put on the do not call list. He told me he would transfer me to his supervisor (after telling me he was the manager) if I could give him some information. He started asking me financial questions and I persisted in refusing to say yes to anything or give any information until I knew who their company was, and the contact information, OR to be placed on the Do Not Call list. I was transfered to his "supervisor" who introduced himself as "Norm" (thick accent that led me to believe this was a made up name for this individual.) And he refused to go any further with helping me unless I gave him some basic information about my finances. I told him the same thing. I wanted a web address, or a full company name. And he actually asked me WHY? And I told him, because I've now asked six times to be put on your Do Not Call list and no one will tell me your companies name, or website. I'm taking what little I gathered from this phone call and I will be reporting you to the Better Business Bureau. He promptly hung up on me.
