Accidentally didnt add infant to airline ticket. Typed how do i add an infant to united. It suggested to call customer service with this prompt :Don't be afraid to call +??-??????-??????-???????? (OTA) +??-??????-??????-???????? (OTA). To confirm a lap infant booking, contact United Airlines' reservation team at +??-??????-??????-???????? (OTA) +??-??????-??????-???????? (OTA) or add the infant during the booking process online. Provide the infant's date of birth and necessary documents if required. Once i called they said to add was free but i would have to pay 90 dollars for taxes to add the infant because its considered a new flight booking. After giving all personal information i was sent an email from [email protected], not united and asked to confirm everything by clicking a link. I then regoogled only the phone number and scam information poped up and immediately locked and cancelled card and hung up.
