Sage & Sill is a dropshipping site that imports fake reviews from their Chinese supplier, then puts a fake certifcate of authenticity on reviews through separate scam website Judge.me.

File separate FTC complaints for both of them. FTC is currently in process of developing legislation that cracks down on the fake review farms and has already fined suppliers. The best way to get websites like this held accountable is to get FTC to pay attention to the deceiptful practices by these websites.

I ordered 2 items in early December 2022. I received a shipping notification and a subsequent delivery confirmation but never received the items. I was surprised they shipped from China when I thought I was ordering from a Washington state located store. I contacted the company and was told a replacement shipment would be sent out immediately. This time, the 2 items shipped separately. I received delivery confirmations for each and, again, never received either item. One said it was delivered in Kentucky (My shipping address is in California) and the other said there was an unexpected error and the package could not be delivered. The company did not acknowledge either delivery location issue and said they would initiate a return. Still have yet to see that $77.85…

One item was ordered on 1/1/13 for 46$. It is now 1/28/23 and the item has not been delivered. We received our Discover Card statement showing that Sage and Sill charged us TWICE for one item which it has not delivered.

I am an attorney who is familiar with FTC rules - especially endorsement regulations, false advertising - it APPEARS that this is a Chinese company representing to the public that it is a local establishment in Washington State. This appears to be blatantly false.

The company's practices from ordering to billing to delivery to returns are reflective of a typical retail scam. It's advertising/promotional materials are misleading and/or utterly false. Customer complaints from all sources are utterly consistent alleging the exact same problems - non-receipt of orders, broken goods which require a 20$ replacement fee, non- delivery of ordered goods.

Falsely and fraudulently represents its consumer practices, return policies and that it is a "small company located in WA state". It is a false front for a Chinese company, goods made in China, shipped from China and it relies on consumers giving up on trying to get satisfaction from them. Many complaints admit to "finally giving up" "too time consuming and/or aggravating"

SS Holdings, aka Sage and Sill, clearly uses fraudulent, illegal review practices by deleting poor reviews automatically, lying about review date (they auto-update to be recent when they were there a year ago), and possibly paying for reviews or using some sort of AI generated program (some reviews are gibberish).

Purchased a item online, ordered two , received only one and it is nothing like description, what a hassle to talk to anyone, huge scam, not even acknowledging my issue, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

I bought a $150 blanket that is truly a bunch of cotton balls compiled and stitched together. Cant get a response from anyone for weeks, no further instructions ever provided to me for a return. Horrible service and horribly priced, crappy quality items. It takes a lot for me to ever even leave a review - this company sucks and I'm never ordering from them again. Don't waste your time with a company that takes weeks to approve a return request and another five days to answer any basic email. Also be wary of ordering from a company that doesnt provide a single help line number or any way to be placed in contact with any human outside of email.

I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing a statue from this so-called “company”. They item I received was damaged and far smaller than the photos online, (but perhaps that is my fault for not verifying). After multiple attempts to contact them to arrange a return, I asked Amex to step in. Will you look at that, they immediately respond to them! They of course blamed me, insinuating I didn’t try to return the item, denied that it was damaged and refused to honour a refund. Avoid these scammers at all costs!

I ordered some tea light figurine holders. The item was damaged when I received it. I initiated a refund. It's been in a PENDING status for 10 days. I've sent several messages via their contact form without response. DO NOT BUY FROM SAGE & SILL. They lie about their refund policy - there is NO REFUND POLICY. You're stuck with their shoddy items.

SCAM! - do not order from this company. I wish we would have googled their reviews prior to purchasing! Ordered a propagation vase with wooden stand. One of the sides of the stand had the wrong length leg attached making it not usable. We've been emailing and calling support for over a month now simply trying to get a replacement piece and they won't respond or answer!

Scammed as well, no responses and got blocked on Facebook. Owner is Justin Schakenraad, now works at salesforce. Try emailing [email protected]

Website is cleverly designed to look legit, but is a bait & switch scam. The reviews are fake - either paid for which explains the ones with photos, or computer generated as some don't actually make sense. If you post a poor rating of a product, it's automatically removed. There's no way to call the company and they do not respond when you attempt to contact via the customer service web form. In my case, ordered and paid for a set of salt and pepper grinders, and only received one (similar to some other folks), then could not get in touch with company. They blocked on instagram when attempted via that route. Looking further, see other complaints that products are not as advertised or some may not receive product at all.

Website is a scam used to send lesser products than advertised and paid for. Once sale is complete and buyer receives lesser product (if they even receive a product), company will not respond to any attempt to contact them by any means including through the customer service section of their website, through social media, etc. (will block/delete poor reviews). Ordered set of salt & pepper grinders and received only one, they did not respond whatsoever via website, etc. After searching more online, discovered this is typical business practice to send lesser rate product or not ship, then ghost when buyer attempts to contact them.

If you were scammed by the Seattle Sage & Sill, please report to the FTC at https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/ , the Internet Crime Complaint Center at https://www.ic3.gov/ , file a complaint with Better Business Bureau at https://www.bbb.org/us/wa/seattle/profile/online-shopping/sage-sill-llc-1296-100... to help get their website pulled down. You can also try sending a note to the Seattle attorney general office.

Over prices products you can get cheaper for somewhere else. Also the company just doesn’t answer! Been trying to get in contact with someone for days. Don’t waste your money

I order the salt and pepper grinders and only received the salt grinder in the mail. I’ve sent multiple emails and an exchange request but it’s been over 3 weeks and heard nothing. To make it worse, they blocked me on Instagram after sending a DM asking for help. Be aware before you order.

Ordered chunky knitted throw blanket and it arrived in a color different than image on the website. Initiated a return the same day it arrived on 12/27/2021. Received an email "we have initiated a return pending approval". Never heard again. Sent customer service an email a few days later. Still no response. Initiated a merchant refund through American Express who will credit me the amount and deduct the money from the merchant's account. I would not recommend this company due to lack of communication.

I ordered a raven light, which came with the tail broken. I loved it so much, so I tried to contact them for an exchange, not even a refund. I have tried contacting them seven times with no response. Don’t waste your money, they’re a complete scam. I’m legitimately so angry at this point. On their Instagram page, you can see all the comments they’ve deleted, assuming they were bad comments they don’t want people to see. The website looks extremely legit, so don’t be fooled. [censored] this company.

Appeared to be legitimate retail website. Ordered a salt and pepper grinder pair and only received one of the pair. Logged cases multiple times with no response. Researched and tons of other similar cases posted by others.

Check out this link. This guy (see Schlomo's post below) has tens, perhaps hundreds of businesses registered under his name. He registers dozens on the same date. https://opengovwa.com/corporation/604751143
