Terribly Disappointing! Definitely not what you paid for, the bouquet I ordered was for a funeral. I even paid more for the premium extra flowers with the crystal glass cross, well there were no extra flowers and the cross was made from wood and painted white! I was so embarrassed! I hope who ever is reading this take the time to do their due diligence before ordering...I paid $145.00

Covid destroyed me financially yet I put aside money to get a really close friend flowers because she has been going through her own struggles with mental health. Thank you “Rita’s florist” for not only taking the money I set aside that I really didn’t have and also taking away something that could of finally put a smile on someone's face who needed it more then ever right now.

I just got engaged to my now-fiance. Her friend wanted to send us flowers as a gift. She ordered from 'Rita's Florist' before checking google to realize that it is a blatant scam targeting those that are bereaving, celebrating and otherwise looking to do good for other people in their time of need or celebration.

The vendor says the flowers have been delivered, but they are nowhere to be seen. And our friend is not getting ANY return contact from said vendor (Rita's Florist). This is a story similar to MANY I have found online in just 10 minutes of basic searching.

I have tried the myriad of phone numbers that this vendor states as their contact #; however, have not gotten an answer once. One of the numbers is no longer in service, even. I have sent an email to see if I can bait out a physical location via their email signature, though I highly doubt this will be fruitful.

This seems to be an online-only retailer. The website, despite touting operations solely in Ontario, FOR Ontario, only charges is $USD. Obviously, this is to yield the largest gain from each individual scam.

This is a scam through and through. I hope this gains some traction.

As with many others I was scammed into believing this company was a local Ontario flower shop when I ordered bereavement flowers in March. My credit card was charged in US dollars. Pretty sneaky way of doing business. Stay clear of this company.

I searched florists in Guelph, Ontario for Rita’s Florist came up. With a name like that it sounded like a local mom and pop shop so I placed my order for “Beautiful in Blue”. Almost immediately I regretted it. This is where I realized they were not a local shop, because my card was charged $76US, which is equivalent to $100CAD. I went on the site to see if I could cancel, but there was no option. I admitted defeat and moved on with my life, but Rita’s Florist wasn’t done with me yet. On the delivery date, I got a picture from my Aunt of the flowers that she received and they looked NOTHING like the flowers in the original photo. I have emailed the company through their “Contact Us” page, but of course they didn’t respond. If you want to waste money, order flowers from Rita’s Florist. I have included pictures so you can see what I ordered and what I got.

Looked up local flower shop deliveries for a city here in Canada. Chose the arrangement, paid, put in all the information. We ordered Friday, flowers were supposed to be delivered Saturday and they were never delicered. The website says our order was completed but it for fact was never delivered. They never responded to calls or emails. We paid $80 CAD.

I ordered online to be delivered in Edmonton, Alberta. Then, the day of the delivery they sent an email asking for a phone number, following another email saying that the order has been fully refunded. I haven't received a refund and the person didn't receive the flowers either. Is a scam.

Rita's Florist pretends to be a local, same-day delivery service. I ordered flowers February 3rd for my sister in British Columbia. The flowers never arrived. I emailed and phoned and got no reply. I received an email from the "company" February 5th saying the order was cancelled and my credit card refunded. There has been no refund. And what I thought would be a $49 bouquet is now on my credit card for $100. This company is a sham.

I was looking for a florist in Cedar City Utah. I wanted to send my Fiance some flowers, because we are currently in a long distance relationship, and she was having a hard day.

I found Rita's Florist online, and it seemed legit, so I ordered flowers from the website. However, it turns out that Rita's Florist cannot do "same day delivery" like they claim, because they are based apparently out of Orange County California. My Fiance never received the flowers that I bought for her..

This company is a complete and utter scam. It's dangerous because clearly has the ability to appear as though it is local to any location that you are in. I want to know how it is possible that this website remains up. I have seen hundreds if not thousands of reviews that show that it is a complete and utter scam. It's not a florist company that does bad business - it's a fake website. It's probably two criminals in their basements just scamming people right, left and center. The fact that it is also comes up as one of the TOP SEARCHES for flower delivery in ANY LOCATION is incredibly worrying. These people are probably making thousands upon thousands of dollars PER DAY with this scam. How have they not been stopped?

ritasflorist.com charged my mother almost 100 CAD for funeral flowers. Receipt was sent right away. Cancellation notice the next day. The charge didn't go through due to some technicality on the side of the credit card (luckily). At the fake rita's florist nobody picks up the phone, or checks messages, & 1800 goes to voicemail. Scammers. IMPORTANT: if there is no physical address listed on 'contact us' don't give your credit card information to the company. I also suggest you change your credit card number if you did give it to them. Scammers may try to charge you again in the future from other bogus stores (ie: you will see charges on your credit card in the future from: mikesShoes $200 etc). Their logo is pixelated (blurry, not clear, low quality) - no company would put up with a blurry logo of their company. They forgot to put in a favicon (the tiny little logo that goes on the very top of your browser (in a browser tab) when you visit their website. This is a half-assed attempt at making a website quickly. Rita's florist is one of the most popular name for a florist world-wide. PLEASE specify the website address in your reviews.

I ordered flowers for 54 dollars total, and they charged my card 80 dollars and the flowers never came. There was no indication upon checkout that the order was in US dollars either.
I ordered them as a sympathy gift for my boyfriends parents and NOTHING. I am so frustrated and upset.

The price you see is in USD and that is not shown ANYWHERE during the purchase or checkout process.

I ordered a floral arrangement for my sister who is a frontline worker and recovering from COVID-19. I wasn’t aware of the cancellation until I checked the order online. It’s so disappointing to trust someone with something so important as your time and money for a service for a sick love one and have it cancelled without any explanation.

I just ordered a $93 flower arrangement for my daughter in law who just list her dad. I thought it was a legit business in her town. I got a receipt for $134 then an email saying it’s been cancelled. But get this... I was charged TWICE for $134 on my cc and no refund to be seen. No way to contact by phone (get voicemail) and no response to multiple emails. I’m FURIOUS. I’m contacting my cc company to see if they can help, plus I’m reporting them to the police (not sure if they can help)
