Attempted to adopt a Yorkie. Sent a Zelle payment $250 deposit and $249 for delivery of the puppie. They were to ship to me but when contacted by the alleged shipper they wanted an additional $299. And the remaining $200 for adoption was to be sent when delivered I called Brian Spencer (person listed on the puppy application)and he said they will refund once the dog gets to me. When contacting the shipper the PayPal account was in an individuals name not a shipping company. Red flag went up about that type of PayPal payment. After reporting to my bank I tried to reverse the payment Cynthia Marsden had accepted the money and cancelled the link to her account with Capital one. Reported to Zelle and they informed me that they would investigate and get back to me. No guarantee I will get it back I reported this scam to Facebook but they refused to do anything.
