A and R collection services contacted me stating I owed $500 from 2013 but could pay it off today for $3,500. They threatened me that my credit score would be affected. They had my current address, phone number and social security number. I called back multiple times to find out their business license number, and they continued to hang up on me. Now I am not able to call them as my number is no longer associated with a collection account is what the system stated.

My concern is that my current phone number, I did not have in 2013. They need to be shut down and/or something to help other people not be scammed by them.
