Was calling Quicken Support and right away I got a recording that I had won a Gift Card to Walmart. I got a prompt to press 1 which of course I did. Then I got a live operator that wanted to who ask what my issue was. I told him and explained my issue. He wanted to transfer me to technical support but first he would need my address. I asked him about my gift card, and he said he would have to transfer me first but needed my address. I unfortunately gave it to him. Then he wanted to transfer me, and I asked what about my gift card? He said he would need to transfer me first and they would transfer me back to him. I said OK and he put me on hold. So, I looked at the number I dialed and found I had dialed 605 rather than 650. and I looked at it when the call started and didn't realize I had dialed the wrong area card
I knew was scammed and hung up...UGH!

Thick accent and pretended to be Customer Support for Quicken - needed credit card to verify and give me a permanent verification code before they could help me. Recorded conversation and requested my info multiple times name and address and email....etc. In retrospect sounded like a total identity theft set up. When I questioned they gave me to a smooth talking supervisor that assured me of this new process that they needed to complete and would help me solve my problem as soon as completed. Unfortunately I had already given them my credit card info before I hung up with out getting verification and immediately cancelled my card as I knew I had been had. I called back to get business name and they hung up on me. Please want people and find out who is behind this phone number 605-250-1900
