Online Retailer Scam

I ordered 2 online books with a sale. They sent out the books, but apparently left off parts of my address so the items never arrived. They told me the books can’t be delivered to me and they can’t be shipped back to them. If I’d like a refund they will give me the money minus the product and shipping.

the website sells books and when the item was received it was only a portion of a counterfeit book, typed out. Customer services refuses to provide a refund even though they did not send what was advertised. Additionally the company states they are located from the US, but they shipped internationally. When looking further online it seems this has happened to multiple people and they ship from all over the world.

This company if deceitful. They lied about the item "blind date with a book" it is not as described. And they will waste your time with fraudulent tracking info for something you will never receive. Under-haned, lying, unscroupulous, thieves! Stay away!

I originally found this company via an Instagram advertisement, but it appears as though they stole their ad from a different company. The service was for blind book packages, meaning you pay for them to pick out books and other supporting items within a given genre. I paid for this on 11/27/24, before looking up the cou try of origination. I received a confirmation number on 11/30/24.

On 12/2/24, I received "tracking" information to indicate it was shipping from Italy.

I continued to receive updates every few days on this tracking to indicate the progression of the package theough 12/29, when the tracking indicated it was in transit in the United States.

On 1/2/25, I had not received the delivery or any other information, so I reached out to Qualedvious support for the domestic tracking information and carrier name. Despite responding to my emails almost daily, support did not provide any real information except meaningless and half-formed apologies until 1/10/25. They finally provided a JS Express tracking number, which indicates the package was shipped from China to South Korea (not what the previous tracking indicates). I still have not received the package, despite being almost two months removed, and am confident thay nothing was actually ever shipped.

The website advertised blind books (where you get a random book that is wrapped up and come with a pen and stickers, etc) when they arrived, there was no book, just a package with a piece of paper and the pen and stickers (less than $5 value). I emailed support, with pictures and they maintain that the warehouse shipped the correct items. I mentioned asked them if this item was not supposed to come with a book when the website clearly says that it does. They would not answer this question, but offered me $18 refund (from a $130 order). I emailed them back and told them no, that is not sufficient and does not make up for the missing items. They then offered $27 refund and told me that returning the items I recieved would cost me "dozens" of dollars and also mentioned that the address on the package is not the address to ship it back to. Noting that the address on the item is actually an address local to where I live, which is obviously suspicious as well. The delivery instructions on the package also says "greeting card" which makes it quite clear that the warehouse knew that they never packaged books.
