My mom received a bill with her own phone number as the account number from QLT Research. When I looked it up it says phone leasing. She's had the same phone in her home for many years. I called the company and they hung up on me after I demanded to know when the lease was signed and for how much. My mom has advanced Alzheimer's and is in no position to sign any agreement. The automated info said my mom had made a 14.00 payment in October and I checked and she did but it was for 14 and change and her balance said 29 but the notice says 29 and change. If this is a monthly leasing charge why is her balance only 29.00? These people are total scammers taking advantage of elderly. I encourage everyone to please check on your elderly relative's mail and stop this scam from continuing.
