Scam began with the purchase of the puppy and the shipment dated was to be December 27 thru Blue Line Courier Logistics LC. They kept adding fees which they said would be refundable at the time of delivery. However, I finally contacted the police department in which they told me not to send any more monies as this was a scam and that they would keep pushing for other monies. I was told by the courier service that the final payment was for a Cite Fee to certify the puppy and still needed $1000 more to complete the transaction and puppy would be sent in which I said I would not be sending any more money. They then told me if I did not send this money that I would be turned over and a law suit would be filed for puppy abandonment. I am attaching a written report of the transactions that occurred and the list of gift cards that were sent. I'm also attaching the the contract that was signed and the initial shipment tracking from Blue Line - never received another report. The phone number they were calling from is 717-850-5353.

I have also filed a report with the police department and sent a report to FTC.

Was hoping to adopt or purchase a yorkie found a secure website so I thought online inquired about a puppy and cost and it was out of state so I asked if we could go get it or have it shipped and how much we looked up business on ScamPulse.com found nothing researched a little and emailed back n fourth until felt comfortable even asked for someone to call and a man did asked a few questions then continued with the emails made the decision to go ahead and purchase was informed I would be send a contract for dog and receipt of payment documents I can then use to pick up dog after it arrives. Started to feel uneasy after a few emails were contradictions of the website but I had already cash app the money and they continued to assure me that the dog will be shipped out on 1/2/23 due to the holidays and I would be given a tracking number ect…. Well then came the kicker they said they registered my puppy to me cargo through American pets relocator but then I recieved the shipping arrangement and tracking number but was told the puppy needed a thermal crate for transport and it was over $1000 and I’ll get a refund of 95% of my money once crate is returned I was floored because in contract the total cost for dog and shipping was $780 no mention of a crate to buy/rent ect I also did some verifying of the website and noticed it was the same number as the yorkie breeder I got dog from but they were separate businesses so I guess it was a scam and the guy ran both sites the contract was a generic one and the shipping was all him too so I asked for a refund on the $780 and said forget it because it was getting too expensive for what I had in the bank and since we didn’t get what we contracted for and on time the contract was void. He said they don’t do refunds but tried to say they would pay half of the crate price if I paid half and yet that would have been another $600 I would have had to get to them I said no and that I just wanted the money returned now he hasn’t responded of course and I called him out and I requested a refund payment on cash app of $780 and nothing has been returned to me as of yet. So in the mean time I’m gonna report his “businesses” to everyone so he doesn’t do this to someone else

I bought a Great Dane puppy to be flown to me. They asked for more money for a carrier. I split the cost with them. We went to the airport to pick her up and no puppy was on the flight. Then they claim the puppy was on hold in Dallas and I needed insurance on her. I said no and there is no more contact.

- Liverpool, NY, USA

Ad for mini pin puppies, the person was ver attentive until they received payment then very little to no contact. They reported that they sent info to a fictitious pet delivery service named Emissary logistics.

I asked for a refund and they have not responded

The scammer created a Facebook group using a fake profile. This group was called "Rottweiler Puppies for Rehoming." After initial contact the woman stated she lived in Chinatown in Illinois and would deliver an $800 female Rottweiler for $150. After I stated I would not pay anything in advance she got snarky about me having “trust issues”. I offered to drive to Chinatown and asked for the address and phone number but I never heard back, thus confirming this was a dog scam.

This is an online puppy scam. I was overly excited to surprise a family member with a puppy. They asked for a rehoming fee for only $300 with a $100 deposit to reserve mine. They wanted to use cash apps. She sent a phone number 407-409-1826 and told me to screen shot it when I send it. I thought that was odd. I copied and pasted the number and sent Nicole? I got a reply that number belonged to a Ryan. That he didn't have puppies but wish he did. I asked Nicole if her mans name is Ryan she said yes. I told her the number was wrong Ryan didn't have any puppies. She then got her cousins email and told me to send it that way. I told her I didn't know how to send it. We agreed on messenger. I sent the 100. I told her I could get the 200. in cash or if she would like a check. She was like you can sed it now too. Then I could just pick up. I sent the 200. I told her I would be leaving shortly. She said I was good to head out. The 100. got canceled while trying to accept it. She requested it again ... and I told her I would pick up the 100 in cash on my way. She kept saying she had to clear medical bills and paperwork and needed the 100. but wasn't the 100. to reserve mine ... and she had 200. I told her I didn't feel comfortable sending more money, that when I see her I will have the cash. Then she said we were going to meet up to pick up the dog once the paperwork and fee was done that I had her word. She kept asking for the 100. I told her with the New Years Eve holiday, it would be approved on January 3rd. She sent a request of 100. and told me just to accept it. She said the bank was pending the 200. (as I see it it would be pending the 100. as well) I kept stating cash would be easier. She sent another number 906-059-2224 and told me to take a screenshot. I told her I was driving. I was researching seeing the 200.00 was completed on Facebook Messenger and I paid Nicole. That you can't cancel a payment that you've sent, as the money is automatically taken out of your account and sent to your friend right away. She asked if I wanted to wait for the 200. to go through...which it did according to messenger. She again said why don't you just send the 100. so she can clear the medical bills and I could pick up today. She never wanted cash or to meet me, or for me to come see the puppies and pick one out. Her add of Free Yorkers stating they can't keep all 10 puppies ....and only wanting rehoming fees ... stuck in my head. Yorkies can only birth five!! So I reverse googled the pictures, and found they were pulled off the internet. She seemed pushy about money. No real phone numbers, sketchy payment ways, copy and pasted photos from other websites, I couldn't call her ... nor do I want to. She also mention how others want the puppy as well.

The original complaint is for purchasing a dog online.

I tried to purchase a puppy from Little heaven Min Pins www.littleheavenminpins.com. The dog is still listed - his name is Max.

The puppy was selling for $750, $250 for ears/tail, and $200 for transportation.

I paid the guy, Donavan Hector via Zelle ($1000) and Cashapp ($200) by 12/28.

I did feel this was odd, and looked the company up and the LLC he used to recieve the funds.

The company was based out of Texas, and had only been in business for about 3 months. I did find a scam report on them, but it was after i paid.

i looked up the house they claim to be at, and it was sold 2 months ago. Yes, it all seemed strange, but i had already paid the money.

He said that the transport company would call me the next day.

Transport company:

ONce we get to transporting the dog via UNITEDPETTRANS.COM they asked me for pet insurance that is fully refundable. $1500. The method of payment initially was Zelle but we had issues with that form of payment so we went to CashApp. that didnt work, so we went to Apple Pay. Obviously, this was ignorance on my part. Once we settled that payment, they told me the crate was not appropriate for flying but we could rent one. This was an additionally $1400 and at that point, I told the seller to take care of this. He said he would but the next day, today, he tells me this was all a scam and he is very smart. The invoice they created for this seemed legit, and stating that the money was fully refundable, sounded reasonable. at this point, i figured i already paid for the puppy, i didnt want to let the refundable deposit keep me from getting him. Once they talked about the crate, i was done.

Info:

He had called me before from a Romanian number: +40 765 500 31,but was also calling me from 407-655-0031 which is in TX, where the company claimed to be located from. He used someone's LLC: Donavan Print Services LLC, Under the name of Cedric Donavan. He signed a contract Donavan C. Hector.

He has an LLC: Donavan Print Services; File number: 0804727524 in Irving Texas.

The transport services tried to get me to Zelle them, using the Lexxology Experience LLC. based out of Georgia, file number 22048989. It didnt go thru so we tried cashapp, didnt work, then finally we were able to send via Apple Pay. Yes, i was totally fooled.

The guy selling me the puppy said this was all a scam and that he and the transport service have this organized. He also asked me in the end if i would like to work with them to make more money.

Scammer advertised puppy on their online website, made it seem very trustworthy by giving a sweet story about their family and where + how they raise the puppies. After emailing in interest, they emailed back asking basic questions like what kind of living environment the puppy would have, etc. They “chose” my family to receive a certain puppy, then asked for a down payment of 500 and asked me to sign a bill of contract. Filled this out and then they asked for me to pay the rest and they would ship the puppy to me. Had to leap through hoops and barrels to try to pay them through multiple different payment sites (Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, Apple Pay). After paying, they told me the puppy was ready to get on a plane and I would be contacted by the delivery service they use. The delivery service emailed me and called me telling me I needed to pay an addition 990 dollars for an air conditioned crate and they would refund me all of it but 20 dollars. When we tried to call our guy, he did not answer and told me it would be fine. Finally realized it was a scam and am now trying to dispute for my money through my bank.

Karen LeGay had a dog for sale. She wanted $400 down payment. She got my $400 from Zelle than wanted more. I told her to cancel the transaction but she refuses to refund my $400

- Rock Hill, SC, USA

Ordered a puppy on line and then they wanted more money each time after I put down payment of $800. I was concerned and should have followed my gut.

Puppy breeder site has a form to fill out. "Stephanie" then contacted by text messaging and arranged a pickup date. Then sent a contract saying we would pay $1000, we bucked that and said only $500 was agreed on. The deposit was made to the account and name they provided and double checked. Wanted screenshots that we did it. Suddenly they claimed that was their son's account and he was "leaving". Told us to get a refund, since it is Zelle that is problematic. I told them to confirm since they provided the transaction info. I am then told, "the son doesn't have access to this Zelle account and to get my money back". My bank denied the request to investigate since it is Zelle. Haven't heard from this person again

- Oklahoma City, OK, USA

He used https://blessedgermanshepherdshome.com/german-shepherds-for-sale/

I talked to him and he sounded legit. I tried sending him cash on chime and thank God cashapp warned me that people have been scammed by him before. So I immediately told him. And this is his response after I asked for a video due to the cashapp respond.

He said, "Lol, I have your address and name so you better not be reporting me. You such a lowlife mf for blackmailing me cuz I won’t sell you my pup lol. You better have proof when you do that or imma pull up to your home and you won’t like what’ll happen man. Just accept your mistake and back off smoothly or bring it on and imma **** you up real bad you hear me

So yeah. Real professional. Beware of this criminal

I came across a website called lilbordercollies.com. Corresponded via email then switched to text messages - 469-291-9072. Puppies were 11 weeks old and for sale for $600 per puppy and $200 per puppy for air fare. PEM Logistics Services was handling the air fare for the puppies. Payment was made through Zelle for $2800 for two puppies. Puppies were AKC registered and up on their shots. Insurance was available through the shipping company but was refundable when puppies arrived. Insurance costs would be $1400, that is refundable. Received an email stating they needed to obtain a site permit into Ohio and I needed to pay and additional $2200. This is when I realized this is a scam.

- Moorhead, MN, USA

Anna Grimes was the name on the message. 8 dogs for sale from $480-500 + $200 shipping.

- Howell, MI, USA

I researched this site and their sale of puppy's, everything looked legitimate. I made arrangements to meet the seller, paid half down using Zelle $250. Was planned to pick up the puppy today at 2pm, everything was set including an address pick the puppy up from. The second half was due on pick, but I was only able to send the second half this morning. So I sent the balance of $250 to them when I was able around 7am. Shortly after 8am, I got a text from the seller claiming he needed to go out of town and was going to have the dog delivered. Once contacted by the delivery service, they wanted to add an additional $877 and threatened to not give me the dog without paying the additional fees. When I refused to pay, I was told the transaction was canceled and I would not be getting the puppy.

As of now, I do not have the puppy and the seller is refusing to answer me.

This scammer led us to believe we would receive a Maltese puppy that we never received due to us not showing our city permit or USDA passes. This is by far the worst scam we ever encountered.

My sister was doing an online search for a female dachshund puppy and came across the Cutest Dachshund website: www.cutestdachshund.com. She filled out an online application with her personal information...cell phone, home address, and e-mail address. The response she got was via text message only. She asked the person to call her and was told "I am busy right now and cannot call you". Via text this person told her to send via Zelle one half of the funds, they would sell her the puppy, "Martha", for a total of $660.00, including shipping. Remaining funds to be sent after the puppy arrived. My sister asked for a live video of the puppy and has gotten no response. When I was consulted for my opinion, I looked at the site and immediately recognized this as a scam. All puppies were very different in looks and size, all t

are represented as the same exact age, there are different flooring backgrounds for the photos, and a price too low to be legitimate. I held my finger on the puppy, Martha' image, chose the option to search image, and found the same exact photo, same puppy, on Reddit.com as a photo from 5 years ago. Also found the puppy's photo on Pinterest. I did the same search with a different puppy and came up with several sites having this pup, from times in the past. I have uploaded a photo of the puppy, Martha. This company needs to be reported to the appropriate legal authorities. Thank you.

Unfortunately I was scammed when I tried to purchase a Papillon puppy from this site. The fake name given was Jefferson "Jeff" Schumer. I filled out the online request and was texted from 207 305-9213. The scammer said he was located in Portland Maine and gave me an address and email address ([email protected]). I asked who was Jason and the scammer said it was his brother who is also involved in the family business. I asked questions about the puppy including how old it was. I asked for additional pictures as well as pictures of the parents. I asked if the puppy was registered with AKC. The scammer answered my questions and requested that I pay via Cashapp, Zelle, or Apple pay. I requested to pay via credit card for my own protection but the scammer said that only accepted payment as described. I was given a Cashapp profile $236wvng (Wang Long) to make payment. I asked who is Wang Long. The scammer said a cashier that they use. I was told that I'd get an email confirmation of shipping. I received one but it had someone else's information on it. When I brought that to the scammer's attention he replied that he sent that one by mistake. Supposedly I was the last person he texted. I was told my confirmation would arrive the next day. The next morning I received a transport confirmation email from [email protected] from Skyline Swift Logistics Relocation Service. I believe this is a scam company too. The confirmation said my puppy would arrive at 7:45pm on 12/10. While out shopping for my expected puppy on 12/10 I missed a call from the supposed shipper. The scammer texted me to let me know the shipper was trying to reach me and to check my email. The email said that my puppy needed a different crate (electronic thermal crate) and offered 3 between $995 - $1600. Supposedly I could rent the crate for $50 but would need to pay the entire fee and get reimbursed less the $50 after delivery. My intuition screamed scammer so I had no intention on sending more money. I called the couple from the previous mistakenly sent shipping confirmation to see if they did in fact receive their puppy the day before. The gentleman was very upset and called the transaction a scam. He described the same crate email and also did not send additional money. I think this scam is extensive because I found another site selling Pitbulls. That site was www.jasonfamilykennel.com and was set up just like the jeff papillon site.

I googled Boston terrier rescues and this was the first organization to pop up, I filled out the form that was on their website and I was texted by them and then emailed. They told me they had a dog available and asked for money when I asked for lineage of the dog, and references. They replied in a vulgar manner, I have copies of the text messages and email. I want to report this so that they don’t take advantage of somebody else.
