Won 5 million dollars. Everything had verified by phone before receiving winnings. Hung up on them

I received a call yesterday while I was on the golf course from John Day with Publishers Clearing House and he called me back an hour and a half later and told me that I had won $2,000,000 and an additional $7,000 per week for the rest of my life. He gave me a claim number and everything and told me Lyndon Davis would be calling me back from the legal department and I would need to send them $437 for the taxes.

Someone called asking if I remembered entering the sweepstakes a year or two ago then gave me three names and another name with a phone number and told me to call then they asked for money don't bother with this it is just a scam

Joe Johnson told me I win2.5 million and a Chrysler300 cherry red( lol). I was tho call him back at the876 number to get my info. He called me back. I had to send him money to receive my car and money. 2 million in a check 500,000 in a duffle bag. I laughed at him and told him he was a scam not tho call. He called me madness befor I hung up. Had an accent.

Received toll free call from 8185314530 stating I had won 10 million dollars from publishers clearing house. "Joe Smith" then asked me to enter a package could followed by an option code followed by a pin code. At this point he then wanted me to call a second number-1-877-496-9053 where I would be transferred to "Leon" in "Indiana" who wanted me to send $999 for processing.

Received a call from James Williams claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House. He said I won "millions of dollars and a brand new Mercedes Benz convertible". He said I needed to send him $7000 to pay for the fees so they could deliver my check on Friday morning at 10:30. He said to be ready because I would be on tv.

I told him that I didn't have $7000 and he suggested I go to the bank and take out a loan so I'd be able to get my money on Friday.

I asked to speak to his supervisor and he then came back on the line and tried to disguise his voice as a supervisor, but I knew it was him. I also know this is a SCAM!

I received a call from a man with a foreign accent who told me that I had won the Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes and they were delivering $1.5 million and a brand new Mercedes. It was 3pm and i would have it sitting in my driveway before 5pm. I only needed to go to Walmart and send him $99. I told him that I knew it was a scam and hung up. He called back so I had to hang up on him again.

A man called and said I won money from the Publishers clearing house and I just needed to pay them $350.00 for them to transport the money across state lines. He also said that it was 100% legit because the ScamPulse.com was on the line recording our conversation. When I said I wasn't going to give him money he got very rude with me.

A guy keeps repeatedly calling me. Asking me to send 250 through Walmart teams Union and they will mail me a prize of 950,000 today

Received a friend request through Messenger from Facebook. I confirmed the request for Todd Sloan of Publishers Clearinghouse. He said I won 10 million dollars and a BMW. I gave him my address and cell phone number. He asked about my bank. I gave him a variation of the name of my bank but no account information. He asked about any investments or 401K accounts. When I asked why he wanted that information he hung up. His message came through @toddsloaneaf/pch.796592

I was contacted by David Hill and told that I won 5.5 million in the PCH, plus a Mercedes. I was to wire $885 to account number 959344946 to Khoalid Douglas using routing number 022300173.

Mr. William said they would be at my house at 4:00 with a check, Package number. EG4044114-US. He claimed to be with USPS out of Marshall, Texas and that PCH was bringing a check for over $850,000. The phone number was from Jamaica and nothing added up when I spoke to him.

Consumer received phone call from Mike West pretended to be Publishers Clearing House --stating she won but first need to make some type of payment to obtain the prize.

Carl Samuda from Publisher's Clearing House called informing that the number on cell phone won 3.5 million dollars and a 2016 Mercedes-Benz. The asked for $500 for taxes on the vehicle. After I challenged them, the scammer hung up.

I just received a call from Publishers Clearing House...Dave Salyers (sounded like Sawyers but I pinned down the name) saying I won $2.5 million dollars and a 2016 Mer Benz. I played along. He asked about banks and age and employed or retired. He said that even if I didn't except the prizes, I would owe $75,000 in taxes at the end of the year. I was told by this man a United States Marshal would be along to deliver the the money and help me take it to the bank for safety sake.

Said i would owe taxes, title and delivery in the amount of $975. Wanted to know how wanted to pay....named several methods. I replied that I would NOT pay anything until I checked with the BBB. He offered to give me the number and I said I had it. I got off the phone to call my brother and this high fale voice ansered . He had not gotten off the phone and assumed I was dialing the BBB. When I asked who it was, voice (which I am sure was this Salyers fellow) said "ScamPulse.com, How can help you? " I told him he could nothelp me and hung up. He called 2 times while I was on the line with a friend. Has not called back.

This call came between 5:30- and 6:00

This mam had my phone number and my brother's P>O> box.

A person called and said I had won a prize and had a cashiers check waiting. When I asked if it was a scam, he said several impolite things about my engaging in intercourse with my brother and that I was a piece of excrement.

A man called my cell phone and said he was from Publishing Clearing House and I had won 1.5 million dollars and a new car.

He wanted me to call him back at 1-876-410-5973. He instructed me to meet someone at Carrs or Fred Myers to collect my prize and to bring my credit card and ID. I did not do this and immediately called the BBB. and ATT about this scam.

The caller ID was from Jamaica.

A man named Michael Anderson called me this morning at around 9:30 am and said that I had won 2.5 million dollars and a 2016 Mercedes Benz, that in order to get the check I had to pay the FDIC. Sounds legit since I know that the FDIC is real. Mr. Anderson stayed on the phone with me until I went to Walmart and transferred $50 to Shirley Harrison in Pine-bluff AR. He stayed one the phone with me until I got all the way home ( we had been on the phone for over an hour at this point) We got disconnected at one point and called right back. He talked to my 16 yr old son and told him about me winning. They were going to be at our house around 3:30 today. I told him before I transferred the money that it was all the money I had and that needed to know this was real because I needed that money. He said I will stay on the phone with you the whole time until they get there with the money. we got disconnected again at about 11:30 and they haven't called back or answered since then. I still have the receipt from the money transfer.

I received a call from a 'Mr. Williams' today claiming that I had won 1 million dollers in a Publisher's Clearing House sweepstake. Knowing it was a scam, I quickly hung up the phone before he could give the number to supposedly "claim my winnings". Beware of these calls! A free resource to avoid these scams is available to the public at http://info.pch.com/consumer-information/tips-a-warning-signs!!!

I received a call from Dave Sawyer saying I had won 25 Million in the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes. I was asked to wire $700 from Walmart to another Walmart. It did not go through, so Walmart gave me my money back. Next I was told to go to my bank and wire $3500 to Mamie Martin Ross and if the bank questioned it to tell them that I was having work done on my house. Then I was told to mail $4000 to Peggy Fischer, 497 Main Street, Walford, SC 29385, I sent the check on 6/6/16. Today I was called again and told that they needed $20,000. I decided to call the ScamPulse.com and was told that it was a scam and to go to the bank and try to stop payment on the check.
