I will not fall for this, but many people will when they hear Publishers Clearing house.
I have report the various numbers to Do Not Call, but that has never stopped anything.

We have just learned that this is a new scam where they record your voice saying "Yes"...and along with your phone number can make purchases in your name.
The two phone numbers that "Linda" Gates" left on the voice mail were 865-268-8135 and 876-853-7462. We called the 865 area code number.

She was told that, in order to claim her money, she needed to send them $1900. Fortunately, she had to contact her financial advisor to transfer funds and they told her that this was a scam.
She provided the very scanty details she had obtained to the Attorney General's office.
Don't know how common this is, but she certainly would have been taken if she had the funds in her account.
