I received a call from a David Sawyer saying he was with Publisher's Clearinghouse. He told me my wife had won 3.5 Million dollars and a Mercedes Benz. He gave a 800# and claim # but I realized this was a scam because I could hear kids and a rooster in the background. This David Sawyer offered to meet me at the bank to give me a cashier's check. He said 9% in taxes would be taken from the check. He asked how late our bank was open. When I told him I believed it was a scam he told me he was a man of God.

was called from 432-897-4953 told had won 90,000.00 given a verification number and told to contact 775-465-4269 for further information did a check on the number which comes up as a home number in Nevada

Caller said we needed to go Walmart and send $100 to receive a Mercedes Benz and $550,000 (the dollar amount changed in the same call). When we started questioning the caller said that they would kill everyone in our home with C4 explosives as soon as the call was disconnected.

Scammer, Michael Turner, said that I had won over $2 million from Publishers Clearing House and that I would need to get a Western Union money gram or other means of getting $50 to Norma Barnhart in Ashtabula, OH. I did not participate in the scam, but was tempted. I do not believe that you have to pay money to receive money in a contest.

They said they were from PCH and said I won 2.5 million and a 2017 Mercedes but needed $185.00 for a disclaimer? Or some kind of governmential thing before receiving anything

We were contacted by a man with a foreign accent named James Green, saying we had won a million dollars from Publisher's Clearing House. He told us he needed us to pay the taxes first, and it was $356. We told him that sounded funny and that we'd have to check it out. He kept calling, demanding we go to Walmart or CVS to get gift cards to pay the taxes. Said he was coming by the house on two different occasions, but never showed up. He started getting very angry with me and my husband. He said his badge number was 75608 and our claim ID was #4810. I called the local police and the BBB. He answers the phone with "Publisher's Clearing House, this is James Green". He continued to call for several days, but we told him we were not going to give him any money for taxes. We just hang up now when he calls, but he's getting very mad on the phone. His number is 876-465-1629 and he says he is in Northern Alabama.

I got a call from PCH, I won $4.5 mil/a car and need to pay $2500 to Money Gram. The person was Rober Anderson I spoke to. He said he is located in Seabring, Florida. I could pay the other half when I receive the prize and the car.

A person calling himself Dave Sayers said I had won Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes amount of $10,000,000 plus $5,000 a month and a 2016 Mercedes car. I needed to send $2,500 registration fee in CASH. I was to call the above number when I got the cash to get the address to send the money by FedEx, overnight early delivery registered. I was told that the $2,500 would be returned a day or so after getting my winnings, which would be delivered overnight after receiving my registration fee.

Consumer received phone call from someone pretended to be Publisher Clearing House --stating he won but first need to make some type of payment to obtain the prize.

Caller stating he was from Publishers Clearing House and that I won the sweepstakes. I then hung up on him. Called again the next day. I then called the ScamPulse.com to report this scam.

I was contacted by phone and was told I had won the second prize in the Publisher's Clearing House. My prize was supposed to be a cashier's check in the amount of $950,000 and a Mercedes automobile. However, I was told there were certain taxes and fees that needed to be paid up front before I could receive my delivery. I discovered the phone number I was called from was in Jamaica. Over several months, I sent them various amounts using various methods such as MoneyGram, Western Union and money orders. On occasion, they would set up a time and place they said I would receive my delivery, but if I showed up there, there was always some excuse why it could not be made at that time. I have asked them to stop calling me, but the calls continue.

I received a call from a male stating he was with publishers clearing house and he stated i had won 2 million dollars and a car. All i had to do was go to Walgreens and get something like a money order with $505 for shipping and handling and they also needed my drivers license and bank account number. They claimed it was for the IRS.
