He asked if I was familiar with publisher clearing house. I replied yes. He than asked if I remember completing and sending in the sweepstakes last year. I replied no. He asked the question again and again I replied no. He then hung up. I called his back and asked if this was legal why did he hang up. He ask again about PCH and I asked again why did he hang up. He cursed and hung up the phone.

I received a call to my cell phone. The caller stated they were with Publishers Clearing House Lottery company. address 101 Winners Circle. Fort Washington Drive. New York. Callers name is Mr. Johnson. He stated I won $ 1.5 million. Two marshals would be at my house today at 4:00 PM to deliver the check. Wanted me to go to nearest Wal Mart. The registration fee is $399. He said there would be additional fees. So I would not be busted for money laundering. Something stupid like that. He had a winning ticket number. I knew right from the beginning it was a scam. He gave me the phone number 585-360-1631 to call them back. My caller ID showed Jamaica. I am not able to pull the number up. I asked him why he was calling from Jamaica when they are located in New York. He said that's because our numbers are routed for safety purposes He asked me if I wanted winnings to be public or private.

"Michael Anderson" from the "Publishers Clearing House" called to tell me I'd won $10,000 cash, $950,000 in a check, and a blue 2016 BMW. He told me to call 812-470-4743 with confirmation # 7604-7461-04. He asked for a list of my beneficiaries. When I asked him if he knew where I lived, he responded, "Of course". He lost interest when I told him I wasn't home. The call then ended.

I got a call from a Rick Miller stating that I won $2.5 million and a car from Publisher Clearing House. He said I had to go get PayPal cards from walmart to pay for the delivery fee. I didn't contact him anymore and asked the ScamPulse.com if this was a scam, which it was.

I received a call this morning from a gentleman asking if I was home? Had I checked my mail this morning for notification of winning the Publishers Clearing House $2.5Million prize? I foolishly told him I wasn't home (however I have neighbors watching the house for me) The caller informed me I needed to contact -- Joe Carter at 1-876-0653 to arrange delivery of the registration for me to receive the $2.5Million check. I would then need to go to the local WalMart and confirm the registration, along with the men who will be delivering the check, and they would receive 2% of the $2.5Million once we take the registration slip & the $2.5Million check to my bank.

I told him I've never heard of the winnings being handled this way. He said it was because of the "new government" that they had to take the 2.5% once I put the check in my bank.

I gave them no personal information, no bank name or account number. I did however, give the man on the phone an alternative address so the Publishers Clearing House people could deliver the check to my work address. He said they would go with me to my bank, after we go to WalMart.

I believe this was a scam.

My friend's Facebook had had messaged me that she'd won $100,000 and more from Publishers Clearing House (PCH). The phone # 802-368-1312 was listed for me to call Agent David Lawrence of the PCH and Dept. of Health Human Services to claim my winnings of $100,000. When I called that number, Mr. Lawrence told me that I had to pay $1350 and give him all my personal identity information, in order for me to claim my prize. I told him I didn't have any money and I wouldn't give him my identity information. He told me I should ask people to loan me the $1350, so I could collect my great winnings. I told him no one would loan me that kind of money. He hung up. I messaged my friend on Facebook who had the big winnings and asked if she could loan me the money. She told me she couldn't, but that she hoped I could find it somewhere. I think my friend's Facebook account got hacked and this is all a scam.

He wanted to know a benifiiciary. He wanted to know what type of vehicle i would be driving to meet them at my bank. He told me the check would be delivered today. He told me he worked for Mary White and Mr. Bob Stone. He wanted me to write down all the information and the read it back to him. He told me the phone call was being monitored and recorded. I did tell him what truck I would meet them in. He then wanted me to repeat everything back to him i had just written down. Though out the phone call i kept telling him this was a scam. He assured me it wasnt. I think this was a fishing phone call. I didnt give bank or personnel information. When he asked me to repeat everything I had written down and I refused, he stated a was disqualified and hung up.

Received a phone call stating they were Publishers Clearing House and that I had won $25,000. I needed to send $800 for taxes in order to receive the money. I told the gentleman that I did not have $800 to pay so they would have to find a new winner. The gentleman called back a few days later and said they would reduce the fee to $200. Someone is supposed to show up to my door at 1pm today to deliver the money. I did not send any money and called the BBB to find out this is a scam, I should not have to pay money to receive a prize or sweepstake.

I keep receiving mail from a 'Publishers Clearing House' claiming that I have been selected as a winner in the '100 Million Dollars Super Cash Giveaway Promotion'. The letter came with a check written in my name to the amount of $7,897.00 They instruct you to call a number on the letter before depositing the check. This is a scam!

PCH is calling asking for $299 for S&H + taxes for $2.5MM (a certified check she can expect to receive). The $299 was to be paid with a Walmart money gram sent to Ozella McCuin. When she purchased the money gram she was to stay on the phone and give William Johnson (on phone), ID# 0755710PCH the details and then he would tell her where/how to send it. They would then deliver the check to the house and "did she want it private or on tv"? She hung up and nothing happened after the phone call.

Publisher's Clearing House will send the prize if you pay $5,000 wire transfer at Wal Mart.
