James Anderson called saying he is a sales agent for Publisher's Clearing House and that consumer was in second place to win a prize. Asked consumer to confirm name and age. The prize is 2.5 mil with a Mercedes. James said consumer needs a stamp to confirm she is a winner, and the stamp costs 750 dollars. These guy cussed me out. I told him that publishers clearing house does not call from Jamaica. He cussed me and called me everything in the book when I said this is a dang scam!

I was trying to check my son out of the hospital from having day surgery when I was called saying I had won publishers clearing house. I don't remember how much money and a truck. I did try to call them back and got a New York number and a number from Jamaica. I was still hooked but thought it was really strange that the man kept asking me if I was at home alone or when I would be home alone. But I always have my youngest child with me. Finally the man was asking me to go to Wal-Mart or some place to get a tax exempt money paper because they wanted me to western union them starting out at I want to say like $1000.00 but it went down to I want to say between $75-100.00. So I tried to call Wal-Mart and ask them about the paper I needed. And they didn't know what I was talking about. So I called a casino and asked them how if someone wins a very large sum of money how it was done with taxes. And as soon as I got off the phone with the casino I called the so-called sweepstakes people and told them I knew it was all a scam and if they ever called me or came by my house the County Sheriff would be called and never heard from them again.

They said I won a sweepstakes and wanted me to send a $500 gift card to prove eligibility.
