Mark Anderson called and said he had an award for $350,000. He gave my name and address to verify he had the correct information. He then proceeded to say all that was necessary was to go Walmart and get a $199.00 gift card and call back at his #

501-722-6454. He would then send someone to my home, verify my identity, hand over the gift card and then I would receive my check for $350,000. He kept repeating “he wanted just 1% of my trust and he guaranteed he would put a smile on my face.” Each time I voiced my concern he kept repeating his instructions and tried to reassure me he wasn’t a scam and wanted to get me completely registered so I could receive my award.

I finally hung up and he called back 3 times. I didn’t answer but he did leave a voicemail message.

2-28-2024 In the morning my ring doorbell went off showing a UPS truck delivering a package that I wasn’t expecting. Inside was a Letter from PCH Congratulation on being selected winner of $1,000,00 along with an affidavit of eligibility asking for my SSN and and to have this letter notarized. Which red flags ?? pop up every time I would call . There media voice mail says they will never send a letter about your winning just the opposite. They will just appear. So I am so confused. I don’t want this to happen to anyone who is counting every penny. It’s just wrong* ***** *** ***** ********

Then I was asked to call Albert Jonson @ 1-920-202-8559 @ ext#5 and to give him The number 7717000 and say I was a USWinner and to verify my Zelle payment of $285 for an international prize registration. When I wouldn’t, he kept giving me different accounts and names with a phone number:[email protected]., [email protected] and also Ojay McBean at phone # 1-920-703-8138. When I refused to send money and told him it was a scam he became very irate with me telling me I was very stupid not to pay this amount up front to have the prizes delivered. I informed him when he starting asking for bank info that I would be making a claim of scam to the better business bureau and calling Publisher Clearing House fraud line also.

- Dodgeville, WI, USA • Feb 06, 2024

I received a call Thursday, February 1, 2024. The caller claimed to be with Publishers Clearing House and said that we were winners of $7000.00 per week for life. The caller claimed to be Debra Holland and gave us a number to call and a code to use to claim our prize. We did not think it was legitimate but were interested in what it might be so we called the number given. The person that answered claimed to be from Publisher Cleaning House and asked us for the code - once given they said we were winners of $7000.00 per week for life. Our response was low key in that we didn't really believe we were winners. The person then said we had also won a drawing for 18 million dollars - again our response was even more low key - such as, "that is really strange". The person asked how often we sent in Publisher Clearing House contest forms and our response was, "we cannot remember ever doing that." At that point the person said, "Hello, hello" as if we had been cut off - and then the call ended. I called back using the number they had given us and was sent directly to voice mail - the number of the voice mail was different than the original number. The whole thing seemed really strange. No information was given from us (name, social security, account information, etc). Thought it important to report.
