I was using my computer when I received a Huge RED Screen that said my Microsoft software was not protected and it was URGENT that I needed to contact this number right away #800-252-8720 to have problem resolved. I "stupidly called" before checking anything out and they informed me there were several errors in my computer and that someone had gained access to my computer. They could wipe everything clean and get me set up with their security. I informed them that I already had McAfee for my security on my computer and they said McAfee only protects the hardware, not the software so I should go with them. The fee for covering me for (4) years was $999.00. I gasped and said "you have got to be kidding" and they said no that is what you need to do. Being fearful all my information on my computer had been hacked, I gave them complete access to my computer to fix it and gave permission for them to charge my VISA account. We had plans that evening for our daughter's birthday, so the next day, I started being sick to my stomach and called McAfee and explained to them what had happened and they said that was probably a SCAM.... That the security I have through them does in fact cover all areas, and so they then had to go into my computer and delete all the things that PCHelpPost had embedded into my computer, and clean it up. I was advised to contact my bank, my VISA and BBB... ScamPulse.com said they are not registered with the ScamPulse.com and so I am reporting this to you as a SCAM
