I was called in March 2024 and told that there were 3 cases of fraud pending against me. Was given a case number and claimed to be representing Paisley and Puller law firm. I did not receive any paperwork from them or any more calls until August 2024. They had some factual information from years ago. Thinking that it was legitimate a payment plan was set up. On October 10 2024 they took out $200.00. I later realized it was a scam because of a court date I was supposed to have on September 30 2024. I had not received a warrant or summons. I notified the bank of the fraud and new card was issued. The whole process involved them threatening court and my having to pay $6,000 in fees. I had asked for paperwork to be sent to me. I was told they could not send paperwork until all payments have been made. They also had earlier stated that my bank records had been requested from the bank. I spoke to 2 local branch managers and no records had been requested.
